Normally I wouldn't advise shooting ninjas, since they usually want you to do that so they can come back to kill you using a bigger ship, but I'm glad it worked out for you.

I did the same... but then the guy warped in two RR alts and was able to take me out. I haven't bothered engaging any ninja looters since then because I figured they'd just do the same.

I normally let looters loot, or blow up the wrecks. I normally don't salvage anyway, no loss for me.

Then I taunt them in local, because why not.

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

Next to nobody does ninja looting for profit, and very few do ninja salvaging for profit. They usually want you to shoot them so they can shoot you back. In general, PvP in which you don't have any ace up your sleeve (such as using your mission boat that he's been staring at for minutes) will end badly for you.

Pointing out that I've been playing since February 2004, have almost 130 million skill points, and I'm in RvB.

When you don't shoot anything for a few years, and then CCP adds all this new fancy stuff like "weapon grouping", "MWD jamming", and this fancy-pants "overheating" all the kids are talking about these days, a grizzled old vet needs to take himself some refresher courses!

(That and being in RvB makes for some quick PVP while the missus makes supper!)

I noticed that you used railguns on your Thorax, which is pretty terrible. I recommend flying something like this:
You may need to downgrade something to fit it all, depending on your skills. Put it into EFT (EVE Fitting Tool) and change it up a bit.
