A character can keep his/her current skintone, but as soon as a skintype has been applied and the character saved, one of the new skintypes has to be used.

The skintypes can only be applied with full recustomization, that is when you also have the option to resculpt your character, but the plan is to give everyone an optional full recustomization when this goes on TQ."

Super Friends:

• Updated Kill Reports (aka Kill Mails)
• Different war cost
• Corp CEO/Director declares wars, no voting required
• Alliance wars transfer to corps leaving
• No automatic war retraction by aggressor
• Wars last for week by default
• Either side can offer surrender in a war
• The defending side can get allies to help
• There is a place for people to find prospective allies/clients
• Players can now more easily track the war in the War Report
• All corps have publicly viewable war history
• Drone Damage module (Extrinsic Damage Amplifier)
• CPU Rigs (Small/Medium/Large Processor Overclocking Unit)
• Fueled Shield booster (Small/Medium/Large Ancillary Shield Booster), using Cap Boosters as charges
• Light and Medium Web drones
• Resistance shifting armor hardener (Armor Adaptive Hardener)

Seems to me like the biggest updates in this expansion are visual and fixing what needed to be fixed. Fixing what needed to be fixed - great, but hardly the "massive revolution" CCP claimed Inferno was going to be, and not quite enough to fix the system. Visual? Woo! Space barbie! We all know where that went last time...

My point being - this expansion seems to leave a little to be desired. Sure, some people might like the game to change a bit and make goonswarm cost billions a week to wardec (not that there's much point doing it anyway). Me, I like shiny. The new BCs were nice, but why not follow up? Titan tracking changes still give us no counter. How about some shiny new caps? And what happened to the new "ship lines"?

All in all, a couple of modules, some visual effects and some gameplay changes don't really constitute an expansion, unless you're following the model of games like The Sims. Pretty sure EVE is better than that.

Also, y u no cap booster for armour rep module?

There is not much in this expansion that gets me excited but I don't think that is because Inferno a substandard expansion. I just realize that not every expansion is going to be a "game changer" for me personally. EVE is very broad so each new feature and improvement will only affect a portion of the player base (except for "unsexy" stuff like behind-the-scenes optimization). In some expansions, more of the changes will touch your sphere of gameplay and in some it will be less.

For example, I love me some shiny new graphics but I don't fly Amarr/Minmatar and I don't use missiles so there isn't much in this patch for me from a visual standpoint.

You do realize that 7.2 was due out months ago right? Blink

You might also consider that the above list is not complete, and is not detailed in any way.

Just to pointing out few obvious things. First, those aren't patch notes. They're generic and incomplete bulletpoints of what was new in the SiSi build. Second, many of those are reworking/fixing some of the basic problems that have been neglected for years and reworking them has been requested for a long time.

Yes I do, dont care... they took time not to **** it up like CCP...

CCP rushs out **** full of bugs... server reboots, crashes...

Games running smooth to me.

Also lul... about new ships...

New tanks
Rebalance
New maps
Bug fixs

March was a HUGE change + again tanks maps fixs...

Sorry but eve is just failing more and more... let's see the game get out of beta.

Why do pods still come out of warp too far from the gates to jump at warp to 0
Why can I not jump because I am cloaked...
Etc etc etc...

The wardec fix is pretty darn massive in terms of how it will change EVE, especially when combined with Crimewatch 2.0 (which apparently won't be in that sisi patch).

…granted, it will be a bad massive change with the current pricing structure, but it will be massive none the less.

I like WOT, and it was a decent update, but you probably don't really want to discuss all of the screw ups, the map fiasco, the still borked MM system, etc. etc. etc.

You might consider that occasionally being "just" out of range to jump isn't necessarily unintended, and that the ability to jump when cloaked is something intentionally not allowed for game balance reasons.

Now stop trolling with the WOT crap and innane comments.

I understand the reasoning behind the new pricing structure, but I"m not sure if it is worth the other issues it will bring.

Aren't ccp still planing to remove the tiers of some ship classes with inferno, to make every ship useful in its role?
Now that would be a massive change, even if only frigates were affected...

I understand it too. I just think it's nonsense and I'm sure it's not not worth the other issues it will bring.

In particular, I'm a bit annoyed how they present this list of design goals and then choose a design that very actively does the exact opposite of those goals.
