seems like I spend more time these days waiting for updates to d/l and process than I do barrelling around the space lanes in Eve.

Is the Eve Launcher going to eventually ursurp all our gametime with patches and updates for effects and changes that otherwise remain unnoticed for the most part by many players. ?Perhaps? CCP is embarked on a strategy of foisting us off with bloatway these days.

You're old enough to know that these small but frequent patches with which you spend a small amount of time downloading and installing is nothing compared to the large amounts unscheduled DT we used to have.

Get a better connection?

Cant say any of the downloads my client has done has lasted more than 4 minutes, that includes the Incarna Escalation patch.

I agree. All these updates take valuable time that I could otherwise spend chatting, ship-spinning, or adjusting my market orders by .01 isk.

get a better computer or get a faster internet connection. or learn how to use a computer.
