And yet you clearly know nothing about the game. Barely anything you said is accurate, and the few things that are really dont matter.

OP: No, game isnt worth returning to. If you have fond memories of how things used to be, youll just be depressed at how low things have sunk. I only resubbed to see how things are and now im off again.

Stuff? I gave it all away the last time i left.

To be honest I am not really playing at the moment. I have 2 accoutns running, and I only really log in to update the skill-queue etc.

It would take CCP to release something pretty fantastic for me to start devoting serious time to this game again, as I have so many more urgent things to do in my life that must taken priority over this game.

OMG..this thread mostly delivers!

Delivers whiney burned out losers, who lack imagination to make their own fun in EVE. Booo hoo..no one to hold your hand. Boo hoo, the economy is imaginary(wtf??), boo hoo TS ppl are stupid, boo hoo eve has sunk!

Waaaa..I got two accs but only log in to change skills cause got more important things to do in life, and that is why eve sucks..waaaaa!

Shut up and HTFU! Evil

Or better yet..leave please, and never come back. No one will miss your whiney ass.

Just..pathetic!

That is to say, a tool toward stagnation.

Where you unimaginatively see a tool for stagnation, I see a strategic target that needs to be reinforced and that certainly will bring on a fight if you take it out. The jump-bridge itself cannot attack you. The alliance that owns it can. Now if you are afraid to attack them (resulting in stagnation) perhaps you should look at your numbers or the skill of your players instead of blaming inanimate objects.

Basically, it is only 2 weeks until Inferno is released, and we still have no confirmation on what new ships, if any, we will be getting. Nothing on Sisi yet. The new Tier 3 Battlescruisers were on Sisi about a month before Crucible got released (I think).

So at the moment it looks like all we are getting with Inferno is a change to Wardec Mechanics, and a few other minor things.

Given that we have all been led to believe that CCP are getting 'serious about spaceships', and have no hints yet, it's not worth playing at the moment.

So has anything changed? From what I've read no! So farwell Eve maybe I shall pop in again in 6 months to see if you exist or have improved.

What it has to do with returning to EVE, is that alot of people left because they got bored with the game and the lack of new content. So given that we have been promised great things by CCP, and not much has yet materialised apart from new missile graphics and wardec mechanics, I think what I said above is quite relevant to the OP.

And we learned nothing from CCP releasing tons of unpolished content through and including Incarna. How quickly we forget.

Am I the only one who finds it strange that OP insults everybody in here and says that he has already decided to quit, yet he wants us to convince him to stay?
Seriously, if this is just a waste of time and no longer the place to get intelligant information, why bother?

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

My main is 3 years old now. When people find out that I play EvE they ask me tons of questions. All I can do is tell them the truth.

First, I tell them that it will take them at least 6 months of sitting and skilling to be able to actually do something worth while. Yes, I could tell them that they could run missions for 9 hours a day for those 6 months in a T1 Destroyer and end up with a few hundred thousand ISK but you might as well just not play for 6 months.

Then, I mention that there are a large group of players who do nothing but prey on the helpless and new players in the game, especially the ones who don't have any ability to shoot back.

After that, I talk about making ISK in game. I tell them about making maybe 100 Million ISK in a few hours while mining, but then I mention that those same bullies who attack the helpless have literally tens, if not hundreds of trillions of ISK. Of course I tell them that for an entire month this option will be off the table, but hey, a month of gameplay, who doesnt want to dock up for 30 days in a game that costs you RL $ to play? Then, we laugh because neither of us will ever see as much as 100 billion ISK because the toons with 100+ Million skillpoints and growing will never allow myself or them to acquire those amounts. Of course I include the discussion about Hulkageddon and how it takes away an entire career path for much of the playerbase for over a month, which ends up raising the costs of ALL items in game, making them even more-unattainable for them, only afforded by the trillionaire blocs.

But I tell them that if they stick with the game for a year or so they too can acquire a few hundred million ISK worth of ships. They could build a nice 1.5 Billion ISK BS for those lvl IV's or Epic Arcs but that bloc of terrorists, supported wholly by CCP, will probably help you lose that investment one way or another, forcing you to start all over.

OR, they could spend $500 and have enough ISK instantly to enjoy yourself for a few months...

Oddly enough, everyone I explain the game to says they don't want to play game after hearing the facts.

So you play the game just to get enough skill and ISK to mission and mine more effectively, to make more ISK, to get more efficient?

Thats dumb, and you are dumb, and I feel dumber for even bothering to read all that. No wonder mission runners whine so much, their existence is dull and boring!
