Greetings!

Putting what I'm looking for right at the top, so I don't waste any potential recruiters time.

What I'm looking for :

If you hold Sov, please do not waste time replying to this. I've been to 0.0 on several occasions and the gameplay out there is not very fun in my opinion, and atm have no desire to live in nullsec. Please do not troll my thread, I realize some people love 0.0 - but it really was not my cup of tea. I had more fun in small gang fights instead of large blob fights, and shooting at structures was about as much fun as a broken glass enema. Just my opinion of course.

Looking for pvp - whether it is roaming through low sec, or high sec wars, or a high sec based corp that roams into low or even null (I don't mind roaming out there, just hate sov holding and living and the politics).

Looking for an active corp, don't need to have a crap ton of members but the ones you do have, it's nice to see them more than 2 hours 1 day a week. If your corp chat is constantly empty, please don't seek me out.

Not adverse to joining a indy corp that is seeking to build or supplement a combat arm to fight off aggression, and my extensive war dec experience (both on the aggressor side as well as the one being aggressed) would only be of benefit to your corp.

A war dec or merc corp I would be right at home with, although not sure how the mechanics changes are going to affect these types of corps.

I wouldn't be adverse to piracy either. I have never *lived* in lowsec for a long stint, seems a bit more of a PITA but could be persuaded living in low, if inexperienced at it. But you bring the experience then I will bring the willingness to learn and hopefully excel.

About me :

US Timezone (PST) though I play at random hours schedule permitting, so sometimes am on during EU or even AU times.

I have recently returned to Eve Online after about a year long break from the game. I left shortly after the NEX store introduction and Jita riots, in part due to how I felt CCP was treating it's player base. I came back mostly due to missing the game and I really feel they turned a new leaf and are working more on fixing issues than introducing new shiny features, and are listening more to their player base for once. I am rusty, figured I'd throw that out up front. I'll get back into the groove in no time.

35 million SP pilot speccd mostly into combat/pvp. Galleante ships primarily, and will be working on minmatar t2 guns soon. Can provide limited api along with application if you wish to peruse my skills.

What I can bring to the table :

PVP experience :

(certainly not as much as quite a few of those out there, but not exactly a n00b either). Most of my experience comes in small gangs (2-3 up to about 6 or 7 pilots in fleet). Have roamed and camped in all security levels of space. Have tackled, scanned down / scout / covops, and performed heavy DPS in my megathron.

Intel Gathering :

(always been the information whore of most of my old corps, and knew what targets were online, usually their general vicinity or where they were at, and what their preferred tactics were, ships flown, etc). While certainly nowhere near mitten's level (lol, how can us mere mortals compete?) definitely above the average capsuleer in this regards. Not too difficult if you know what tools to utilize (both in and out of game), and with the creation of evewho in my absence, I'll only be faster and more efficient in my intel gathering.

War dec experience :

Being aggressed as an indy corps combat pilot, I decided to fight back. Though underskilled versus my opponents, and nobody else wanting to fight in the corp, I gathered intel and bided my time. When the dec got extended week after week, I finally decided to fight back.

TBH it was a pretty fail dec corp that already was suffering from internal pressures looking back in hindsight, but I was able to gain small victories at first that rallied other members of my corp to want to fight, to the point we were fielding fleets instead of just one or two others tagging along with me. This was the most memorable and fun war dec I can recall, and sucked me into the PVP aspect of eve. The dec corp left with much more losses than we had, and lost several of their members in the short weeks following the reprieve.

Active player, teamwork oriented, self sufficient :

I'm on pretty regularly, always willing to lend a hand to a fellow corp member if required, always up for some pew pew if I have the time in game available. Laid back and drama free. Realizing its a game, and the fact that it's not "if" but "when" you will lose a ship, I'm not afraid to lose ships. Don't need a babysitter or hand holder either, I am self sufficient.

I've always tried to follow the 'don't fly what you can't afford' bit, and if i get disappointed about losing my ship it's because I lost a ship without getting a kill or doing some serious damage before I went down. Beyond that, replacing ships just takes making ISK, so it's never a big deal. More than willing to fly bait ships, and lose them, even if I don't get on the KM but gets the gang some kills, more than willing to perform a bait role. Same goes for tackle.

Longer post than I had initially planned on, sorry about that. If your interested shoot me a convo in game, an eve-mail, or reply to this post, and I'll get back to you asap. Thanks! Cool
