But do you claim to know everything about them, and then get mad at everyone else when you actually don't?

I have been playing this game for just over 2 years. I know next to nothing about Industry besides the time I turned my Slicer BPC into a Slicer.

If I start Industry now it doesn't make me a Noob it makes me a Newbie at Industry despite a well skilled Character. Now if I did Industry for six months and know as little as I do now that makes me a industry noob.

Now ganking is pretty common knowledge for Miners an if they don't take time to put up the least bit of defense then...

I don't see how pvp/griefers think they are killing noobs when actually they are just looking to gank the easiest ship with a decent value for their pleasure and killboard stats(and for hulkegg).

people flying hulks are at a huge disadvantage I do not characterizing them as noobs......they are simply easy targets. So perhaps if you look at it another way....the ganker is probably more a noob than the hulk pilot for having to take out easy targets to boost their ego's and kill stats.

There are probably some noobs in hulk as there are in every ship type....good luck knowing the difference. There are so many factors that may have awarded you your kill. If it is a hulk bear in mind that you went into it with much of the odds in your favor.

ganker tears?

Hulks, not so much. There are plenty of newbies in Rets though and fitting a Ret for a newbie is a big step forward in their EVE progress bar.

Keep killing them though. CCP can afford it.

Given that there are plenty of posters here who fly hulks during hulkageddon and successfully avoid getting ganked tells me that there are a whole lot of clueless people flying Hulks.

The gankers don't kill hulks to pad their kb stats.

Also, as has been explained on many posts, I'm not a ganker. I'm a nullsec miner. I even own my own Rorqual!

It's the empty Mid Slots they are talking about when they call them Noobs.

Yeah, those untanked hulks really are easy targets. The tanked ones are a bit harder and may take a couple of tries.

true...many are not looking to pad kb stats and just do it for the love of ganking...if there are some hulks avoiding getting ganked...maybe the ganker is the noob? just a thought.

and well you are expressing an interest in ganking...i thought...... regardless if you are a null sec miner.

No. For example when someone starts to tell something about faction warfare I will have my confused "what's that?" expression.

Lets not turn attention away from the real question. Why is killing clueless people in Hulks considered bad?

You're a newbie. Not a Noob.

Newbie is descriptive.
Noob is an insult.

A Newbie asks questions, runs tutorials and so on.
A Noob assume they'll just pick it up and switches all the messages off. Then complains when they die. Possibly in an expensive ship they bought with ISK from plex.

Woo! CSM XI!

Judging by the spelling in your post, I have to guess that you aren't being serious.

But just in case. I don't see many failed gankers complaining around here. Do you?

It's not bad.......people have every right to do what they like to do......the original discussion was "where are all the noob miners?"

okay...my guess is that they are hiding behind rocks? dunno.

i didn't want to troll really so I will happily exit....apologies.

They certainly don't seem to take in any advice on how to not get ganked. Instead opting to come on here and whine about it.

Noob or more precisely n00b is just "newbie" translated to leet.
There is no difference between these two words.
