What level of tank do you need for c4/c5 sites?

It seems like somewhere around 900dps omni for most c4 sites. Does anyone have a good break down of what tank you need for site type?

For C5 sites i usually say 70% resists across the board and at least 70k ehp, while doing 600 dps at 50k.

thats for battleships, if we're talking c3's then just the tank and as much dps as possible.

Thats just me though.

You won't. You should buffer and have remote reps.

60k+ ehp at least.

They used to, not sure since the neuts took effect?

C4's you want rr with buffer, C5's you want carrier rr with more buffer. Also take note of your system effects, wolf rayet in assault frigs is a hell of a laugh.

I run C4s with ease in a Tengu, you can get mad tank for little money if you do it right!

That being said it takes a while and I only do this when nothing else is happening and I find a C4 available.

I also believe the above posters estimation of DPS to be incorrect as in the Radars and Magnos of a C3 can push a 1k DPS Proteus to its limits. That being said that clearly isn't kiting damage like a Tengu would so maybe 900 DPS is realistic.

The better option as posted above is RR for C4s and above.

C5s and C6s can be run in Tengus you'll need about 5-6 of them to do it I'd guess.

Normal non-escalation waves in a C5 can top 2500dps and with some of them featuring heavy webbing a lot of that can be applied on T3s and battleships will take the full brunt there are very few setups that can solo C5 sites especially as the spider repping on some waves can be around 700dps so you need one average fit ship applying damage effectively just to break even. There are a few ships that can run them solo but in most cases they need a LOT of pimp and high pilot skills.

You can run them quite well with 4x RR tengus especially if you've got a ship running siege ganglinks but with the level of neuting on some waves 5x tengus is a lot safer.

C5 sites tho really are designed for running with carrier support (which causes an extra sleeper wave spawn when the carrier warps in). BTW a full escalation wave triggered by a 2nd of the same type of capital landing on the site does -288cap/s neuting and almost 5000dps so its not to be taken lightly.

IIRC the last wave on one of the C3 mags or radars can't remember which it is off the top of my head does a combined 1060dps, the others aren't as high only about 700-800dps.

EDIT: Actual stats for the last wave on the site I was thinking of:

Forgotten Frontier Recursive Depot

2 x Frigates (Emergent Preserver) [scram, web, nos] 2x 31.5dps, -6cap/s combined
1 x Cruiser (Awakened Upholder) [web, neut] - 1x 42dps, -6cap/s
3 x Battleships (Sleepless Upholder) [neut] - 3x 427.5 dps, -30cap/s combined

Total DPS: 1356 (ouch), Total neuting: -42cap/s.

If your in a T3 and kill the frigs first tho you'd probably be only taking about half the dps from the battleships with only one web on you.

I'm sure soloing c5 anoms involves the use of multiple bookmarks to stay out of the reach of nasty things.
Its not effective but can be done.

Yeah we have one guy that does that but it needs a decent amount of experience and some balls and really isn't that efficent.
