I have accidentally deleted a station container which had some BPC I need. Does anyone have previous experience of a mistaken deletion? Are GM's sympathetic in these cases?

I have tin foil hat trained to 5.

Meh, you could try filing a petition but I doubt they'll reimburse you. Chalk it up to experience and be more careful next time.

Not really. Good thing they were just BPC's.

No idea what a GM would say but what would be the harm in asking they can only say no if they can't help.

It never hurts to ask; but having a forum thread where you ask for an excuse may not help :)

It does, in fact, hurt the GMs to ask. Its not like petition queues are short, easy to deal with things.

I have heard of them reimbursing for accidental reprocessing but I don't know about trashing.

No, but clogging up petition queues with needless petitions hurts everyone with an actual issue who has to wait longer as a result.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Sometimes when I post, I look at my sig and wish that I'd follow my own god damned advice.
