Mass abandoning wrecks still cause lag?

It used to be if you abandoned a tons of wrecks it would cause lag in fleet, for example, incursions. I know they did some optimizations but is this still an issue?
Trying to find out if I can eliminate this item from the WDATT list

This isn't a feature or an idea, you're trying to ask if a performance issue has been resolved. I suggest asking in the Test Server forum instead.
