The Best Time To Attack The Goons?

Goons probably run freighters through hi-sec like most people do, has anyone ever tried to attack their hauling operations? Or are they totally based in null-sec? Or is it just too scary to be worth trying?

Hello. Some people have been talking about taking down goons.

As you might know the cfc is a 30,000 man coalition that can field 1200 man fleets on a big timer.

If you wanted to actually beat them you would need a similar sized coalition who would be willing to stick together for the several months and trillions of isk worth of losses that it would take to grind down all that space. Your coalition would also need to have a dictator and coherent fleet doctrine and motivation to keep fighting through numerous ship losses.

Also good luck getting the established non-cfc alliances to band together unless you're some kind of Eve messiah.

That's why someone saying 'we should totally attack when goons are in jita' or 'let's hit their supply lines' is dumb.

(Not that having the cfc around is bad, really. They have lots of people and populate their space which makes it more fun to fly around)

You do realize any serius nullsec player has pubbie highsec altcorps or NPC corp characters for this work. A jump freighter full of shiny goon stuffs leave jita every day free of any wardeks. Good luck chasing anonymous neut cynos in low sec stations Blink

Ah that makes sense. I am new and still learning subtle details like alts in npc corps.

The solution is to never not be attacking goons

Whatever happened to the 99%, that was pretty great.

Shhhhhh!

We were all going to attack the Goons, but you told them about it and ruined the surprise.

First mistake was thinkin the goons would leave home undefended. Shocked

Signatures wer cooler when we couldn't remove them completely.

Frankly not all the goons could fit into jita before the gates were locked due to overcrowding so no, they aren't all there, not even a majority of them. The best time to attack goons is when they are out roaming in fleets, Its a much more manageable number to deal with.

Even without jump clones goons can jump back to friendly space in about 20 minutes.

Isn't it the best time to attack goon controlled space? Their entire alliance is in jita Roll, they most likely hired some mercs to defend yet they most certainly can't replace their whole force with mercs and thats a large area to cover. Also the goons are loosing money and recources being in jita so they are weaker. So if anyone is planning to attack goon space, or wants revenge on the goons now might be the time.

Everyone secretly wants to be a goon, they just cannot accept the total loss of identity.
