All is in the tittle.

EDIT: Even if the Title is a mistake. I thought about the Deep Space Transports in fact.

In 0.0 the blockade runners are simply useless because of the bubbles. They are too slow to flee before be destroyed even if they are not scrambled.

These T2 ships should be the best way to transport 15000m3 to 25000m3 of goods in dangerous places without a cyno but in the facts the only way to have a chance is to make two trips with a the Cloaky transport ships.

I think you meant DST, as the blockade runners are the cloaky transports.

Blockade runners also get caught in bubbles, none of the transports or industrials are immune to nontargeted ewar.

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.

1. What blockade runner are you using to get 15 to 25k of cargo space? I have a Prorator fitted for max cargo space and has just above 10k cargo space.

2. Fitted with speed mods a blockade runner can get upwards of 1100 m/sec with a MWD... and accelerates fairly fast.

3. Learn to fly. Hit your MWD and cloak at the same time... then either burn back to the gate and jump through or fly in a direction away from the hostiles and "gently" turn into another direction (so you don't lose much speed) as soon as you are fully cloaked.

Ok I made a mistake ;-)

I thought about the Deep Space Transport when I made this topic :-)

I Thought about the IMPEL, the BUSTARD, OCCATOR, and the MASTODON.

The Blockade Runners are excellent like they are now in fact. Because their ability to cloak make them really har to catch.

Really Sorry.

I'd be worried that making more and more ships immune to bubbles would make bubbles more and more useless.

How about giving Deep Space Transports more EHP and way more speed. This would make it easier to burn out of a bubble without making bubbles useless.

I honestly think PoCo based sov is a good idea https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1417544

Yes I thought about this possiblity. But these ships are Heavy Transport ships, they should not be fast. They must be catchable with two scramblers if they are not fitted with a Warp Core Stab more.

And I think it is logic for these ships to have the same ability than the T3.

Only time you should be getting bubbled is when you jump through a gate unscouted and a hic is on other side. And its pretty easy to mwd+cloak back to gate.

Other than that, if you cba to set up safes or scout then you deserve to die. No point making the game laughably easy for the rest of us.

Also, nerf the crap out of jump freighters. Damn things completely destroy any challenge that once existed in logistics.

You are right about the blockade runners ;-) they are ok.

Had a conversation a while back in Jabber about this, I don't think it's a bad idea for DSTs to be internullied. they would have to lose their warpstab bonus, of course, but I think it could be made to work.

I whoud love it to get a industrial t2 ship that can fly thure bubbles but it whoud take away all the danger and fun in runing a blockade. this get thums down for me. if you dont like bubbles fly in highsec.

I lost my Bustard to a Gate Camp of about 20 People. Did not End well for the bustard, although I didn't fit it for Tank.

I've also ran into Bubbles while transporting, and I've just burned out and warped even with a few people jamming me. So much lolz.

this is generally a good idea.

Give them nullifier, but remove warp core stability.. They have low slots if they wish to use warp core stabs.

no ship should be immune against bubbles.
I also think that those interdiction nullified T3 are overpowered and should be removed from the game.

The agility of DSP and Blockade runners needs to be swapped.

And the tanking bonus of the DSP needs to be swapped for something useful.

Bubbles, Blockade Runners, Jump freighters and T3 nullifiers are fine people....one ship can get away from you at all times which is severally hampered by the sub system, any other ship you just up the hell out of your sensor resolution and you win which is then countered by the cloaky transport, jump freighters are just point to point from cyno and have to move to another system to use a POS bridge (which if they don't use, just catch the cyno frig). Nothing needs to change, unless you really like sittng at jump gates catching every ******* thing, drive people away from nullsec / lowsec, and then later bitching you got nothing to shoot at because nothing can counter you.

Hey, if you want to win at everything that includes not opening your mouth when suddenly you got nothing to win at since no one wants to bother to run your gatecamps or over crushing forces that are unbeatable.

Personally I'd leave their bonuses the same, but add some powergrid so they can fit even more tank and a MWD.

There's already a type of ship that's designed to run blockades. DSTs are designed to be slower, but with larger holds, a bigger EHP buffer that makes them easier to defend, and the ability to shrug off being hit with a random point or two.

They're not supposed to be super fast, super agile, and bubble immune. Bubble immunity is an awful, game-breaking mechanic, and the only reason its even remotely acceptable on T3s (I'm not a fan of it, personally, but I'm willing to :dealwizit:) is that the T3s that are configured for covert/null setups are pretty gimped. The last thing EVE needs is another almost-impossible-to-kill transport ship (JFs are bad enough).

Jump freighters are only "almost impossible"? News to me.

I thought the only time they died was when they were stupid enough to jump into high sec with an active dec, no scout and without leaving the decced corp. Hell, even Garmon's "exploit" was patched so fast only a handful of the damn things died.

Even with a bubble nullifier AND a warp core stab ability, a DST could be catch.
This ship do not have the agility and the "time to warp" of a T3.
But it is true that it would be better to exchange the warp core stab aility with the bubble nullifier. because you already can fit a warp core stab item.
This ship would become really hard to catch if you are alone. but a fleet of three would catch him or destroy him before he warp easily.
Do not forget that because you are not cloaked everybody will see your DST on the Scan and Intel him.

The Blockade Runner is far more difficult to catch than the DST nowadays.
