Lost my Thrasher that was earned from the tutorial to the amamake gate camp.

My friend had given me 50mil to buy some implants, but I used it as seed money to start trading. I couldn't believe that there was a cheap T2 100mn MWD only 3 jumps from rens. I thought I could flip it for a quick 2 mil. That lose made me sick to my stomach.

5 Days later I scouted the gate, saw it was still camped and came around from another direction. Got it out and my heart was pumping.

My first real lose was a Cane. Was ratting in lowsec, didn't even know he was there until his drones were on me. I took him to half sheilds iirc. If I had had a web for his drones I think I may have been able to drive him off. I was tanking the rat and his guns, his drones were what was doing the most damage. I hurt a few but he just juggled them and I died. He was nice in local, but I was still sick to my stomach. It was a rush however and I decided that I wanted to "try this pvp thing". A little over a month later I got my first 2 kills.

Years ago. Someone dec'ed our noob industrial corp, I think his name was Gunsnroses or something like that. The ceo said to stay docked, no way a noob could beat a 1 year old player, but I agreed to a 1v1 with him in frigs. I was in my trusty Rifter, don't remember what he was in. We actually fought to a standstill because he couldn't break the tank on my failfit Rifter (I had both shield and armor tank, lol). After a while we disengaged. I warped to a gate but couldn't figure out why I couldn't jump. While I was puzzling over the gate, he found me and ended up blowing up my ship while I was stupidly trying to jump rather than fight.

My 6th week in game I was recruited by a wormhole corp. A week or so after getting into the c2:

My first loss due to gank nothing special.....just didn't know how to protect my self lol.

My first PVP Loss;

Was putzing about in the pos when word came across vent that a vagabond entered from high sec entry. Corpmate in a hawk (iirc?) went and engaged it....and died. Meanwhile I had jumped into a blackbird and warped at range. That was when I realized it was an actual ship type and not some vagabond coming to mess with us . We tussled a bit....he banged me up between my missed jams.......got a lucky jam off and escaped back to the pos.

Now, me in my infinite noobish wisdom, got to thinking; that ship was soooo darn fast.....it HAS to be a frig... right?? right???

So I reshipped, warped back to the entry with SUPREME confidence.... and this is what happened

Needless to say, to this day, my friends still rib me about this.... and frankly, it is still one of my favorite deaths.

Ah my T1 Brutix, so many memories, thought it was invincible, how couldn't it be with the way it mowed through NPCs? Apparently I was concerned about getting jammed, but not very concerned about any type of tank.....

Also lost my pod to what could have only been an insta locking cane :) then podded agin and wondered why I couldn't fly my uber Mega.......good lesson in the value of a upgrade clone.

this was back in the day when i actually still lived in highsec and had never ever done something pvp wise...
our corp joined the caldari militia, and i actually flew into tama, and asked in local for a militia fleet, this invicta guys fleets me... warp me to a safe and kills me...

Just look at it I am horrified. Luckily I got into this Corp quick and they taught me how to fit my ships the right way.

Went into a wormhole and forgot to bookmark the way out. Eventually probed an exit.. to nullsec. Hopped from system to system to system until finally, last gate before leaving null - camped, owned, podded.

Given that two of the three who killed me have more than a trillion isk worth of kills to their name, I don't feel so bad about them getting my little noobfit (shield booster + armour playing ahoy!) Probe.

I was... what? About one or two months into EVE? The corp that recruited me (see: "deceptively conscripted" ... ♥ u lonnie!) received its first war dec about a week after I joined. I logged in and all the directors are telling everyone to stay in station. I listened and obeyed like a good little nubbin, went afk, made a sandwich, and came back 10 minutes later.
"Is it safe to come out now?"

The CEO of our corp says it's okay but not to wander too far. I happily proceed to jump 2 systems out to grab a level 3 mission... only to jump into a rather large blob of orange.
Me: "Uhhhh... they're here."
Bittervet CEO: "Who are?"
Me: "Targets. I um... war targets. I have a Rupture, an Armageddon, and ummm a Rapier and...
Bittervet CEO: "Shutup fluffers! Where are you and can you get back to gate?"
Me: "What? Umm... Mirilene?"
Bittervet CEO: "Burn back to gate!"
Me: "Ummm... help... I've decloaked and they are shooting me!"
Bittervet CEO: "sigh*

Oh yeah... and I THINK what I was doing with that fit was staying at range and repping back in station when I took too much damage (I don't think I knew what reppers were at the time... stupid newfangled complicated thingys that steal your cap and use more blue and red bars than guns... hmph!)
