Although i TRULY appreciate CCP giving gifts... I have to agree on this one. I've been playing this 9 years and non of the gifts here tantalize me in the least. I have several of each of the ships being given away and all the skills. Whats left?

I would have loved a remap too.
But free stuff is free....

Oh no! Why did I wait a month after beta to create me eve account? Granted I not played for 9 years solid, but I do think CCP could at least compensate me.

If it wasn't for Eve I might have had an easier time with my degree oh and my doctorate and job. As it stands eve lead to me having to do all nighters to hit deadlines.

Actually I don't care about the gifts, and 9 years in MMO landscape is deserving of a celebration. The richness and depth that has been provided and still is been provided by this game is a testament to CCP vision. I remember thinking 5k ppl on simultaneously was lot.

I may not always agree with the meta gaming (though I do it myself) and I sometimes feel that small corp interactions can be overshadowed by likes of the super alliances. I am no super fan of eve online, but its the only MMO that has had me come back over and over again.

So thanks CCP for the free minerals, and may you see another 9 years.

I agree. It's just a bunch of stuff that's only useful to newbies. Couldn't we get a bonus remap or some free SP or something else that would be useful for everyone?

All of the free stuff is useful to everyone. If you can't find use for any of those gifts then I can understand why you would want a free remap because you are obviously in need of a few extra points in intelligence. P

ccps true gift was to the bot owners that propped them up for nine years of bad gaming

they weeded out the bads and casual robos and then they boosted mineral prices for them

I have an idea. How about a month of snowball launchers? Big smile

I need a station warehouse freezer to reconstitute my old ones as it appears they have melted (oh noes!) but -5 thermal damage is funny.

Thanks and all that but couldn't you think of something that would be of some use or treasure to someone who has been playing more than 6 months?

Apart from "Refine your skills" which i think is worth the most, there is nothing there that excites, titillates, inspires or makes me even care about EVE's 9th Birthday beyond, click, sell thanks for the free 50 mil.. Assuming of course that the implants are not a typo in which case it's more or less pointless to anyone over a certain wallet balance/age.

Free stuff is nice, but stuff i have and can get already get ad nauseum is pretty meh. I'm sure the new people will appreciate it though.

Yes, contribute much?

More of the Genoloution implants to complete the set or continue it would have been a choice for older players.

OMG a corpse launcher would be so damn funny, like the snowballs, you hit them with meat!, but maybe wait till after Direct X 11 so that the corpses leave a splat and chunk apart lol Twisted

Greetings capsuleer,

Congratulations on 9 years of flying in New Eden, exploring the vast universe and discovering the riches of countless stars.

And CCP, as capsuleer No More Heroes said, thank you for the Rupture and the Stabber. They will be fitted and flown and hopefully see many a dent and a scrape.

"It's your party and we'll cry because we want to"

CCP is so epic generous as usual.
