Just another Facebook style "i got more friends then you" game

I've been on the Singularity server for a few weeks now, it's nice, you can just go head to head with everyone and nobody gets pissed off at anyone, you can build ships for chump change and you just get more isk back from the insurance, then you ever needed to put it together.

Awesome.

However, i did make me realize something.
I have only once won a battle, literally only once.
Every other time, i either got killed because the ship i had to fight was several classes higher then me ( BS vs Dread for example ), or because i got outnumbered HEAVILY.

Now on that last bit there, about being outnumbered, it annoys me greatly ( not whining though ).
Every time i stand a chance of winning a fair fight, some other chaps warp in, target me and start firing away.

Of course, on SiSi it's all just fun and games ( although i must admit that for some, it's very serious somehow, which is pathetic ), but this kind of stuff also happens ( a lot of the time ) on Tranq, where it is much less fun and games and very much more frustration and anger ( for a lot of players ).

My point is, although i don't mind about this at all on SiSi, i have absolutely zero trouble, seeing how ridiculous and perhaps even unfair people might find it on Tranq.

Now perhaps it might be an idea, to make a little change in CONCORD response times, more people firing at you, means CONCORD arrives faster.

I know I'm going to get a lot of crap thrown at me for saying this, but i don't give a shyte.
If you had the balls and the skill to take someone on 1v1 and come out on top, well then 10 points to you, if you need 2 or 3 or even more mates to do it.... you're just pathetic and you deserve to be shot 1 nanosecond after opening fire.

Thank you for reading and good day.

You are always outnumbered.

The fact that this is sisi makes it irrelevant.

Chances are people will not comes so easily to help if it was not on sisi but on Tran.

I also hate the fact that for some people sisi is not about testing but about risk free pvp as you make it sound.

Someone tried to kill your battleship in a dread? And they succeeded?

The easiest way to win a fight is to outnumber your opponent. The hard way is to play solo. It is your choice how you chose to play but this is EVE and most people really don't like to lose fights.

Assuming your opponent is going to fight fair and honor any agreement is to lose before you engage.

1st rule of pvp club is you do not whine about pvp club

2nd rule of pvp club is YOU DO NOT WHINE ABOUT PVP CLUB

3rd rule - If someone dies or warps out, the fight is over

4th rule - Fights will go on as long as they have to

5th rule - If you expect a fair fight, you are already at a disadvantage

6th rule - Include smack talk and good fights

7th rule - You are not a pvp'r until you've received a hate tell

8th rule - If this is your first night, you have to fight.

Your argument is exactly what is the drive for most pirate style players, which at the same time, is exactly what i meant.
Maybe CCP should try to discourage many vs 1/few PvP in some sort of way and i think the CONCORD idea i proposed could actually help out a lot.

So you're essentially saying, that 3 or more pirates attacking 1 Orca ( just for example ) and winning, automatically makes you a good PvP'r?

True, but that wasn't really what the post was/is about.

Which makes it even worse on Tranq, cause the people attacking are usually already prepared to die, while the people that "could" defend, will only have more doubt

CCP has even setup an entire system on SiSi, just for this.
Edit: Duality is the server used for all the actual testing, SiSi is for fooling around and the mass tests every once in a while.

Anyway, nice seeing you on the forums every once in a while man, haven't seen you in game a lot lately.

Yes!

PvP in Eve isn't just about winning the fight, it is about avoiding the fights you can't win, and finding targets you can win against. If someone has the patience to hunt down and find an Orca that they can freely attack then that took some skill or patience.

Either that or the Orca pilot was really dumb.

Hmmmm, a rather interesting and perhaps true way of looking at it.

By the way, i got shot by CONCORD last night for warp scrambling a target, perhaps i missed the update notes which stated this had become a crime? or does it have something to do with the system sec rating? ( not including low sec, cause i know CONCORD doesn't go there )

Well I found your problem, you are trying to pvp with a orca.

And to answer your question from earlier, no, that wasn't what I was saying, that is what you are saying, do us all a favor and don't speak for me. I have a preference for ships that shoot back so to me a good pvp fight is one you walk away from, a great pvp fight is one you crawl away from with 1 hit point left.
