9th anniversary gifts

I came with excitement to see what the 9th anniversary gift choices might be, and left feeling completely underwhelmed.

+1 CCP for tying the gifts into the Inferno theme...

-1 CCP for not living up to your usual standards for these celebratory gifts.

Here’s all the options. In their own special way, they each celebrate changes that just came in the Escalation to Inferno patch.

Refine Your Skills - Memory Augmentation Standard and Cybernetic Subprocessor Standard (Implants) + Scrapmetal, Ice and all other ore Processing (Skillbooks)
Drill Bits - 10x each ore mining crystal I's (10x Arkonor Mining Crystal I, 10x Bistot Mining Crystal I...etc...10 x Veldspar Mining Crystal I)

No, Eve deserves better.

After 9 years this beautiful beast deserves something creative and interesting for the celebration of it's 9 years. Not something embarrassingly un-exciting for even new players. I mean seriously, even IF someone didn't already have those skillbooks and access to those cruisers, either they're extremely new, or they just chose not to train in that direction. c'mon.

I'd rather have a chance to reset my standings with an Empire after 6 years of wrecking it. A nice standings reset token? If it works out, you can make it a 5 run BPC using the Data Center formula as per race and introduce it for Sec status. But I think outside the box Sad

It's a very good chance they've got more important things to do and enough work on their plates.

Also, I would seriously investigate anyone who chose the Pax Amarria as a gift when it is in fact worthless and useless. Anyone with sense would at least cash in for ISK whether they need it or not.
