Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Ever since the deployment of the launcher I have been experiencing problems. The latest issue that I have been having is that every time a patch comes out. The launcher begins to run....... windows asks for permission........ launcher patch download window pops up and conducts its quick download. (Here is the problem) Once that is complete the window closes and then windows ask me for permission again (just like at the beginning) and when i click Yes. It begins to pop up the same launcher download window and so forth. It continues to loop over and over again with no end.

I have troubleshot this same problem in the past and was able to fix it but it seems every time i find a method to fix it. It occurs again with the next patch push and I am forced to find a new method because the solution that fixed it in the past is now failing.

This time I have ran out of ideas and I am current stuck with no Eve.

Can somebody please help me.


Here are the some of the things that I have tried already.

* Manually downloaded patch and ran it.
* Manually downloaded the full client (3 files) and ran it.
* Went to C:\CCP\EVE\laucher\cache\updater.exe and ran it. (Worked in the past)
* Uninstalled Eve completely and reinstalled.
* Ran Repair.exe (several times)
* I have ran all previous options under regular and "Run as admin"


Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
