Hi,

I want to leave an alt of my in charge as CEO of my corp.

I have a few questions:
Does he need to have particular skills, and what ones?
Will this be a problem for the alliance, as we are the alliance executor corp?

Also, if i select resign as ceo, i get the following choice:

Tired of being at the top of the corporate ladder and looking for a way out?
If you choose 'yes' you will be given the option of naming your successor from your corporation's roster of 19 member(s).

Are you sure that you want to resign from the position of CEO?

19 members? We have much more members.
Will my alt be in this list?
Whats required to be in this list?

I tried Googling, but to no avail..

Thanks in advance!

The people that aren't shown available to accept the CEO have probably resigned roles previously and not choosen to be available for roles again. If you're alt isn't in the list you can have it make itself available for and he'll appear

List only shows members which have the required skills to manage the corp race diversity and what not. If your alt has these requirements he will show up.

Skill related are Etnic Relations and Megacorp management if im not mistaken...

Really??

You don't want to lead, and you don't want to follow...

You have trust issues, maybe?

That's a pretty bad cockblock move to block the CEO position just because you can't handle the leadership position.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way!

Lead or don't lead - that is your first question. All technical issues will go away once you honestly answer that first one.

Don't ramble without knowing where this is about, i'm just switching chars because i need that one for another project, for the same corp/alliance.

Well, thats all clear and so, thanks for the replies.
I can indeed select my alt.

The one and only remaining question is:

Will this be a problem for the alliance, as we are the alliance executor corp?

no, shouldn't be an issue. Alliances are quite often just handed over in a process where you can buy Alliance generation off another player who has the skills. I'm not sure it should be that way, but it is.

Good you remind me of that, thanks!
