Hi,

I read the wiki site about Highsec Capital Rules

In there, it says that:

3. You may not use your capital ship’s attributes to gain any sort of advantage over other players while in high security space.

And:

Following is a list of activities that are widely regarded as fair use of these ships.

Showing off
Mining

Capital ships can be fitted for really high amounts of EHP, basically making them ungankable in highsec. Can this mechanic be used to mine almost 100% safe in highsec during hulkageddon?

If so, this thing should be dealt immediately since it is very gamebreaking by allowing certain privileged individuals to obtain minerals with near zero risk.

As a highsec miner I find your post very offending.

First of all there should NOT be a question whether I can mine in high sec with the risk of getting ganked. This kind of troll where the killers gain nothing is nonsense!

If it bothers you that much, read the full rules on capitals on highsec:
Highsec capitals may NOT undock during wardecs. Also, if they got a GCC, they MUST dock immediatly, and not undock as long as it runs.

So you want to harass this highsec capital? It's even easier harass a highsec capital then a hulkminer: Wardec the guy, he may not undock as long as the war lasts, and you can issue a wardec from anywhere! While to find that hulkminer, you got to fly round all the time, hoping the guy doesn't warp away when he spots you.

I don't want to harass anybody, I am a peaceful person. But what can you do to stop someone in NPC corp mining in a capital ship fitted for maximum EHP?

Because HiSec is full of them capitals.

We are required by our constitution to let the voters think they have a choice. That's democracy!

LOL, good luck docking in a ship with GCC.

Concord will kill any ship in two shots now so a highsec titan will die just as fast as a battlecrusier.

I'm sorry young man but a capital mining has ZERO advantages over a dedicated mining ship (aside the huge cargohold as best) as any smaller craft can mine probably faster and move the goods quickier.

In fact most of the hi-sec caps are Chribba toys you don't want to mess with Chribba seriously or the Veldspar cult may hunt you across the galaxy.

Very poor try. Maybe go for another one?

Please added mining turrets to freighters. It is a capital ship and I, too, want to mine with it. Thank you.

This is clear abuse of the miner-dominated CSM to mislead CCP to the end of allowing a small proportion of players to hold a monopoly on all veldspar mining

As far as I know there is only two mining capitals in highsec. Rest of them are just for showing off. Only advantage capitals have over Hulk is huge cargohold.

Operating one in highsec is very restricted. And top of that it's locked in one system. They can't use gates. Of course they can activate their jump drives but that's one way trip.

It's not surprising any way why most of the original highsec capitals jumped to lowsec or got moved by GMs.
