Just as there exist Sisters Core Probe Launchers and Sisters Expanded Probe Launchers to complement the T1 and T2 versions of same, I would enjoy Sisters Salvager, Sisters Codebreaker and Sisters Analyzer

I have included the stats for Sisters Launchers for comparison purposes

ItemName CPU Scan Strength Bonus
Core Probe Launcher 15 0
Core Probe Launcher II 20 5
Sisters Core Probe Launcher 10 10

Expanded Probe Launcher 220 0
Expanded Probe Launcher II 242 5
Sisters Expanded Probe Launcher 210 10

Item Name CPU Optimal Access Bonus
Salvager I 20 5 5
Salvager II 25 6 7
Sisters Salvager 18 7 8

Codebreaker I 20 5 5
Codebreaker II 25 6 7
Sisters Codebreaker 18 7 8

Analyzer I 20 5 5
Analyzer II 25 6 7
Sisters Analyzer 18 7 8

These modules would require the same isk and LP as the Sisters launchers and require a T1 version of the appropriate item. This would likely result in seeing them on the market priced similarly to the launchers, currently between 35M and 40M.

Bumping for more commentary.

As I think about it more, the items should perhaps require more loyalty points/isk in order to increase the market price, and could probably withstand a weaker access bonus (to the same as t2), but the range and cpu decrease would likely still make them popular enough to be valuable for tight fit setups.

Please, like it, improve it, or tell me why it is a bad idea.

I'd prefer seeing them as not providing the same bonuses as T2 versions, else what's the point of skilling for T2, but I think that about the probe launchers...

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it WILL be.

T2 Core Probe Launchers sell for a bit under 900k, Sisters ones for 40-50 mil. A 98% saving on the purchase price must count for something. Blink

Probably even more significant for codebreakers and analyzers than for launchers, in fact. Scan probe strength is a necessity for an explorer: if you don't have enough, it locks you out of sites completely. A higher access bonus, on the other hand, is just a convenience. You will succeed in opening the can sooner or later even with the T1 version; T2 (or this) just makes it go a little quicker.
