I thought the following quote was the official statement on the changes to the NPC drops.

"NPC ships will no longer drop manufacturable T1 loot. NPCs will continue to drop modules, however T1 items which have a blueprint will no longer drop, making player manufacturing the primary source for these items."

With the changes to NPC loot drops, shouldn't Combat Drones, Ammo, & Cap Booster Charges stop dropping? Is this a bug, or something that will be phased out later?

Good point, QFT

To quote Lfod Shi

The ratting itself is PvE. Getting away with it is PvP.

FFS you people are idiots. Loot tables are fine as now, infact I haven't seen any cap boosters drop at all. Ammo is fine, few thousand rounds a week won't kill anything per person. Drones...does it really matter? T1 drones are far easy to mass produce then loot.

It was done in this fashion to extract carebear gunminer tears in multiple phases.

I think the stuff that is dropping is loot that doesn't provide much in the way of minerals and no high end minerals. I haven't seen any cap booster charges since the patch and they used to provide a fair amount.

I was hoping that the loot table would turn in to something better than 'metal scraps, all you can eat' though. Oh well, just need to change my approach and adapt.
