CCP, are you too busy to answer?

Or is Soundwave just telling his null sec buddies what datacores to focus on?

I asked 2 weeks ago what datacores will be aligned with what races, in order to prep chars for the fw race that I need to be with to get the datacores I need.

Inferno and the decimation of the datacore mechanism is only 4 weeks away now.
Surely you have this sorted out by now?

Maybe he's not made up his mind and they're going to roll a 20 sided dice.

But on the other hand the racial types with the correct faction and all other types available from all would seem to make sense.

I would assume that if you were in the Amarr FW you would have access to Amarr datacores. Wouldn't that be most appropriate?

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

OK genius, riddle me this one:

To make Damage Control II's, you need Minmatar Encryption Methods, Nanite, and Molecular Engineering datacores.
Yet currently, the largest supplier of Nanite datacores are the Amarr R&D agents.

Two factions diametrically opposed to one another. KInd of tough to get standings for both to join FW.

Now, if we go with your suggestion of aligning datacores with whatever race the Encryption skill is based on, that would be a really, really simple thing to state by CCP, now wouldn't it?
But no, they have not publicly made any statements.

I am sure all the members of the null sec members of CSM have been given the information and are broadcasting it to their key industrial people, because Soundwave and Jon Landers, among others in the CCP null sec zealot bloc, have made their allegiances VERY clear through statements and actions.

About the "fw race".

There are two ways to get militia lp:

1. Killing (lots of) enemy militia ships.
2. Running militia missions in low-sec 10-15 jumps away from your agent's station where everyone can see your mission location on the overview.

Are you ready to do any of these?

And to answer your question: why do you think that only one faction will supply a specific datacore?

If you play EVE you must learn to adapt fast to uncertain and changing conditions.

At least you should take some solace in that your mystery will end on May 22.

Yeah. And it's only been advertised on the Launcher itself that last night Soundwave met with those contest winners in London.

Sorry OP. He's actually spending FACE TIME with other players.
