Black screen upon undock from Jita 4-4

Hey guys. I'm having trouble undocking from Jita 4-4. Whenever I undock I wind up with a long black screen -- long enough to warrant a relog. I cannot do anything about it, I can't click stations, modules or warp anywhere. However I would like to leave the station. What can be done to remedy this?

We've been having this too. You should logoff, and log back in.

You should be fine if you log off fast enough, your ship will e-warp before its invulnerability wears off. When you log in, you'll then start a million km from the undock and warp there (automatically). And off you go ~

The issue is loading the jita 4-4 undock grid. There's tons of stuff going on there, so your computer might just go ~ugh~ and give up.

EDIT: Opps, you're a freighter service? Heh, well uh... be careful what you undock in.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

no black screen issues here, but most of the time the station does not appear for a minute or two.

I'd say your machine is choking on drawing too many polygons at one time

If a 4.8GHz i5 2500k with two 560 Tis is choking on Jita, that's a serious issue :P

welp I'm running an i7 with 1 560 and like I said the only thing is the station loads last once all the ships drift into place

but others have reported the same issue you have
heres a dumb question, what is your sound card?

I have three sound cards. I'm a DJ and do a lot of production.

I have an Asus Xonar Essence STX, a Creative SB Audigy Platinum (not in use currently) and then also have an old production card which is also not in use, hooks up to my sound system.

I have on board sound but I think it's disabled.

on a side note -- check your log in screen there is a strong traffic advisory for Jita....

Someday I will have the time to play. For now it is mining afk in High sec. In Cheap ships

It's not just invisible stations, it's gates too today.

I had a string of invisible Star Gates this morning, about 9 or 10 while moving from Kor-Azor to Ammatar, nowhere near Jita.

I see a server reboot in my future.

hit your instawarp as soon as your shortcut changes to "warp to".

You don't really need to see the station when you want to get the hell away from it.

We've been having this too. You should logoff, and log back in.

You should be fine if you log off fast enough, your ship will e-warp before its invulnerability wears off. When you log in, you'll then start a million km from the undock and warp there (automatically). And off you go ~

The issue is loading the jita 4-4 undock grid. There's tons of stuff going on there, so your computer might just go ~ugh~ and give up.
