More tank in short time and since your cap is running out pretty fast -> less cycles more cap. I need 3 cycles for 30% shield. I try to keep it at 30-50%, because the "natural" regeneration rate is better.

This July fella flies it excactly like I did and has good points in all of the posts. Take heed.

The natural progression for a mach is 3x CCC / SMC "stationary" tank build -> AB - cap boosted build -> burst aerator II.

In highsec, depending on where you mission, you might like a damage control (vs ganks) or a nanofiber (improved travel time). The damage control build works by ditching a mid for tracking computer and a TE for DC. It requires pimp stuff / imps.

I disagree - damage that isn't applied thanks to resistances doesn't need to be repped.

Personally, I used to use 2 invulns, XL booster, MWD and cap booster fits after MWDs were allowed in missions. Had the quickest completion times with that kind of fit.

20km???? My Mach hits at 60km. Close to falloff but still 1200 against Angels BS.

Plus, what mission do your shields get down to 30%?

Mach's tank is it's gank.

How the hell is a 1200 hit (all guns) against Angels at 60km using Barrage 3000 dps???

My DPS is about 900

With Barrage (high cost, longrange, EXPLO damage) against angels (explo weakness), you can hit for 1200, but not every shot. Try that on Serpentis or Sanshas...

Why not just run 1-2 cycles of your MWD and be in range with fusion? Also reloadtime...

1.25 for the hull in Jita a couple of days ago

Eh no it was much more efficient to sell Dram BPCs and use the ISK to buy Machs in Jita. All the russian botfarms in Angel space crashed the price of Mach BPCs last year.

How does the Mach perform in Fed Navy missions? Currently doing 4's with Navy Mega... Do you fly a Mach like I would speed tank with a Tengu.just much closer?
