So i want to nab some of these tasty goodies. Tell me about the sleepers protecting them, what will be required to clear?

I'm able to solo all but 2 of them in a passive fit Tengu. The Vital and Instrumental (with 320 and 540) are not soloable (to my knowledge). Those spawn 2 BS, and then 2 more after a couple minutes, and are a higher level difficulty of sleepers than all the other ladar sites.

Instrumental Core Reservoir has 4x Sleepless Sentinel:

http://eve-survival.org/wikka.php?wakka=InstrumentalCoreReservoir

That usually spawn a couple of minutes apart - I know people who make bounces and kite them with 2x RR tengus but its somewhat ballsy to do.

They drain 72 cap/s (combined) out to 25km and also warp scram to 24km, the combined group does 1646.4dps and with their webbing can apply it fairly well to T3s. Each BS has a little short of 150K EHP.

Vital Core Reservoir lacks scrams so is more surviveable but the frigs spider rep their group which makes it a bit harder to clear - if all 4 frigs rep a BS it can tank upto 300dps.

For easy mode clearing you can use a pair of tengus with carrier support.

You can solo clear an instrumental quite nicely with a dread ;)
Would not recommend doing so outside your home system.

Good solo tengu is ok. I use bookmarks (100km, 200km, 300km from the site) and kite them. Most sleepers are homebodies, and will only move a certain distance from their start point and then hover there for you to pick away at. If you're outside their EW range once they reach that point all they have to throw at you is DPS. I've only done this in C5s, not having tried C6 sites.

Take care applying that approach to other sites ... one sleeper frigate type seems to ignore the rules and will chase you forever rather than stop at a certain distance from home.

It's not super quick, and it's not pretty ... but it works. Obviously more ships will be quicker and epeens, well they're epeens.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Carriers too, though dreads are quicker. Disgard what Jack said, it is actually a GREAT idea to do it in other systems... Roll

2 Logistics (Basi/Guard) and 1/2 dps ships will clear them fine.

Also note that C5-6 tend to spawn lower rated site as well. I made good isk in ladars in a C6 clearing them myself last time I was in a C6. There were only a couple that I needed the rest of the corp to clear.

Instrumentals can be done with 2 GOOD 4/2 RR/ET Domi's. 3 Pref. Though the last time I tried it, it was JUST after the changes to the sites.

2x RR domis can do it pretty easily if they have armor ganglinks in fleet - might sometimes get a little hairy but should be able to keep energy xfer going stable under neuting aslong as you don't try to keep remote armor reppers running when they aren't needed. Without ganglinks then 2 might struggle a bit if T2 fit - a bit of pimp can help there but the domi isn't exactly the first ship you'd put shiny modules on.

RR tengus is your best bet for a safe run in clearing the sleepers after which you go grab your mining ships and d-scan till your fingers bleed.
