Don't want to make a petition for this, hoping that community representatives can provide some info.

The message of the day on the client's log in window is something like:

"Make sure that your account details are current by visiting the account management page."

Should I be concerned and check account details of all my accounts or is this just a random friendly reminder?

Friendly reminder. The GMs have received some bounces when they reply to petitions because the email information isn't up-to-date.

I wish it were easier to remove recurring credit card from payment type. The only way I figured was to cancel account and now I will PLEX it to see if CCP digs their hands into my bank account again..

You guys must've made the process difficult on purpose. Silly CCP, got us again.

That might be because your marketing team likes to spam emails if god forbid you ever cancel your account.

It's no different to nay other MmO, you have to cancel your current subscription, then at the end of the tiem oyu have payed for you will need to either start another subscription or use a plex/timecard. I've not seen a single MmO that works differently yet (excpet the F2P ones ofcourse).

Noted.. Working as intended for all money grubbing corporations.. Not just you CCP, but Blizzard, SoE and many others as well
