C2 WH and solo Minmitar Ships!!

Looking for a solid setup for a class2 wormhole, but downside is as of now i can only fly minmitar ships, was thinking a bs with 800mm repeaters or something..

but i see alot of shield cane setups too, so any help would be appreciated!

I don't fancy the minmatar ships, but I'd think a Cyclone would be perfect for it. Plus it's a lot cheaper to replace for when it eventually gets ganked.

Canes pretty much the way to go, iirc.

loki is probably the best option but costs a lot more obviously.

yeah i was kinda lookin for affordable at first, dont have time to train for a loki, training core skills right now, need AWU 5 !!

Disagree about the loki being the best option - much prefer the arty slepnir to it for solo work, or AC slepnir for group. But loki would be my second choice for minmatar.

A cane should suffice for a C2. C4 combat sites are a different story given that sleeper waves often spawn 100km off and take their time getting over to you. Missile boats make this simpler to deal with.

confirming solid fit. if your skills are good, you can switch one of the SPRs for asecond tracking enhancer and put an assault launcher in the highs. also, this is one of the very few cases where defender missiles can be useful.

I should buy an Ishtar.

i left the last high slot empty because the tracking computers make it a little tight on CPU. you can squeeze in a launcher in there to use standard missiles or defenders. also, your kin and exp resists are a little low, so be sure to speed tank the big guys.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Could anyone suggest a decent typhoon fit, i dont mind using a cane but i just worry about survivability i like knowing that im rollin in and bustin it out without a worry, i was runnin sites with the cane fit they had in above posts and it did fine till the bs spawn and i had to warp out, skills are a little low probably.

You will have problems with Sleepless Watchman until your skills are better. You will do terrible damage on C2 Sleepers in a BS.

Just a little hint - you can get under the guns/orbit too fast to be hit in C2 anomalies. It doesn't always help, but its good to know. Keep up your transversal and only ever kill pre-sleepless-watchman triggers when you are at full
