CSD Team to support this forum and CSM

I was thinking that CSM could use a hand in regards to keeping track of all these threads and wishes, and occasional awesome ideas, with visuals and whatnot..

Would it not be worth it to have a semi official Council of Stellar development. CSD.

These groups would volunteer and collect data from in here, have talks with CSM and CCP, and have open meetings and the like on specific topics.

There is so much great quality work, and players that really would be quite capable of making draft versions of all these things, and most importantly help in sorting priorities and votes on this. So not only popularity, but also strong arguments, and very relevant how simple or complicated ideas would be to implement.

Personally I would like to point out all the manpower over in MD regarding the economic aspects.. A lot of novel ideas have been tested by these people, and would be powerful if all the related parts would be working together.

Yeah, the issue with this forum and the F&I forum is that the good ideas get drowned out by the bad ones.

If there was a group of people whose job it was to read the forums and be in touch with the CSM about the good ones, I would definitely sign up for it; I spend plenty of time on the forums as-is, lol.

Well I would like to put some time into kicking this off. I made the ingame channel CSD.

Also until something else and better I will host any content need, and the initial steps at my website. www.real-eve.net/

There is tons of content to get through, and the wikis and what not, so could take a while.. :)

Indeed. The signal to noise ratio on this subforum is atrocious.

Working on setting up a dedicated forum and other resources for just this thing.

That would be sweeeeeeeet.

Even if it was just an editable wiki page, maybe linking popular threads or with pages dedicated to popular subjects containing objective lists of pros and cons. Hell, even an invite only private forum would be amazing for some slightly more constructive discussion.

Issler, if that is what you had in mind then WTB invite :P

I think the relevant point here is moving up from merely written words and documentation and into live chat and audio and video conferencing. Making another wiki and another forum is really not doing much in a new way..

The way out of the written word and the anon trolling and misunderstanding tone and intention, is what that would bring..

So its mostly my intention to get some groups formed that want to focus on discussions and collaborative datamining and research into this forum and other resources.

I put a few rough examples on my website, and the example of a video collaboration I did with Dez, that also made a small Adam Smith Video for eve.

Focus on item UI idea
