So, is it just me or are Drone missions even more of a waste than before tuesday's patch?

They drop no loot (I was expecting random loot like all the other rats) and have subpar bounties. I understand the need to rebalance the mineral supply to make mining a little more with it, but it just seems like drones just got shoved even further down the list of useful things.

Perhaps a buff to the drone bounties to counteract lack of loot, ar at least give them some loot.

They need to add some sort of loot table asap. Stop being lazy CCP.

Well I just had a "Attack of the Drones" with 12 battleships @ around ~760K Isk each...not bad for about 3 minutes shooting.

Here's a bright idea for CCP, you know those magical augmented and integrated drones that you absolutely never see in combat and only really ever see on some obscure contract for 500m?

Why don't you start making said drone tech accessible through a unique drone loot table, by all means don't make it easy to obtain but at least give people something for their efforts. It's sad to see content that gets left to rot, and for the love of veldspar make some form of high end faction spawn that drops an infested domi bpc.

The advantage of a bad memory is that one can enjoy the same good things for the first time several times.

One will rarely err if extreme actions be ascribed to vanity, ordinary actions to habit, and mean actions to fear.

CCP why must you change things that aren't broken? Rogue drones worked fine, I don't think anyone was getting rich off rogue drones.

Unless someone tamed them and made them all mine for him at the same time.

Problem with drones was that they made mining useless.

yes it was a needed change
yes more looks at bounties/loot for drones needs to be done
yes ccp says they do not have time to address this at the moment.

Frankly, its more than I was making off Drone missions before, since I often would just do the mission and move on.

just dont waste your time to salvage them...all you miss are a few alloyed tritanium bars - if you are lucky!!.. abandon them and leave them to noobs..

do the mission (drones die quick) and move to the next one..

Ofc there were people getting rich off rogue drones. But that was not the point of the change. Now mining should be viable again.

Some drones in missions have no loot AND no bounties. Also, I'm still getting a lot of meta 0 loot from mission rat kills. I'm not very surprised...

Ammo and drones.

I still wish they would reverse the Mining mission nerf so you got a a few non-fake rocks in the mix. Most gankers are too lazy to scan you down and the spawns are usually 20 km from the warp in point. It would allow miners to be miners and not cow kills for griefers.
