Whn you join a fleet it would be nice to be able to select where in the squad you want to go before you join. Finding it annoying when i join fleet and it puts me in a default squad then i have to move myself all the time- this problem escalates when you have multiple characters joining fleet.

no I would find this more annoying than explicitely specify the fleet position when I really need to.
The majority of the fleet (squad members) doesnt care in which squad they are.

Asking me everytime I join fleet would even escalate if I join with multiple characters!

Then there is a simple fix to cater both. When u click join fleet there is an option that u can tick/untick to "Join Fleet normal" or " Join fleet specific"
