Pretty soon the cheapest ships in Eve will be T3's fit with faction & meta 3 gear

I laugh when peeps tell me only ISK faucets cause inflation and I mention the oil crisis of the 70's ( remember OPEC? ):

Yep. Posting on the EVEO forums can do that as well.

Cool.

Having enough Tech stored for several hundred T2 ships, I am content.

OPEC isn't that the agreement that all oil transactions had to be made in US dollars making American the richest nation on Earth, until Iraq jumped ship and started trading in Euros. Iran and North Korea quickly followed and oh look we have an Axis of Evil.

Iraq gets in invaded and trading returned to Dollars and well you know how much talk there is of invading the other two.

Apart from that the tech cartel is very much like OPEC a multilateral agreement to raise the price of oil.

I like tech the way it is because people went out and did it. They studied the mechanics of the game and saw an opportunity to dominate and took it, and lets be honest is that not the American way.

What difference does Technetium make to Tech 3s? Or did you mean Tier 3 BCs? Because if you did, learn to post.

None, that's his whole point: that the tech cartel will drive prices up to the point where T3 ships will become the less expensive choice so everyone will fly those instead of T2.

Well this is what happens when you have game mechanics that so heavily favor the big alliances that they can afford to use what was supposed to be small corp tactics (Such as AFK Cloaking) to drive out small neuts and reds from the good stuff.

Corp and POS mechanics make isolating potential spies difficult except for big alliances. CCP Tells us their plan for fixing that is a modified minecraft screenshot for something next year. Result? They feel free to demand full API

AFK Cloaking drives small corps and alliances out shuts down efforts to fund alliances against the big boys. We hear nothing on this.

Tech moons and moon mining in general have gotten EXTREMELY out of hand and are serving to help solidify large alliances even further with virtually free isk flow. This has the added bonus of reducing the power of the individual corp member because stuff he mines or rats means less to the group. Instead of a badly needed temp change to drops from rats across nullsec we get pretty pictures for something next year.

These and more should have been priority for Inferno. And with Dust going to take up tons of their dev time why should the goons and others not feel safe to form a trust to raise prices?

CCP this is what nullsec has done to you. They pointed and screamed at incursions when the issues festering in their zone need to be fixed FAR more.

Incursions generate isk while Moons are just used for trading goods. Moons don't create isk. Also, guess who was at the forefront of a Moongoo nerf on the CSM?

Yeah, as long as enough line members show up and fight if necessary to keep the tech safe, they don't mean much. Of course in some cases, a small subset of the members become very important, ie: manning the supercapital blob.

And never forget the logistics people who have to take care of all the POSes and the other things that are required to get that tech to market and sold. We (and all our reimbursed drakes, maels, etc etc) salute you !

P.S. In some cases, "manning" the supercap blob may mean never logging in that alt. These are all sacrifices made for the greater good.

Lies, all lies ! The goons just want to wreck everything including themselves. Look at what happened the last time one of their important buttons got pushed Lol That's right, it had to be someone with the roles to push the button.

I like this, got a massive stack of T2 ships and mods I never use. Finally a reason to offload it to the market!

Don't know how many times it has been said that Incursions aren't flooding the market with isk, despite the many lies said on that subject. And while moon goo does not create isk. It focuses it in the hands of those who use it to keep their big alliances big and secure.

At once it needs to be changed to drops from NPC rats across all of nullsec.

Guess who was at the forefront of the Moongoo nerf on the CSM? Also, rats won't drop moongoo, that is dumb. It's going to be ring mining, and will probably be in the Winter 2012 expansion.

Why would it be dumb? As a temporary solution it is far better than allowing this crap of moon mining continue because NPC loot empowers the individual member.

Winter 2012? The fanfest presentation was a CGI picture. It wont be this winter.

I'm pretty sure they were showing off stuff that would be done this year. Anyway, it wouldn't make sense from any kind of standpoint except for a bandaid. Let it be fixed the proper way. Everyone has been ****** so many times by CCP rushing a fix out the door.

Also, I'm pretty sure that this cartel move is part of a plan to push the ring mining idea into overdrive for CCP.

Edit edit: While also making a nice profit on the side.
