Selling PLEX for in-game money is a great idea.

Buy PLEX with in-game money is also a great idea.

But what incentive is there to sell PLEX for real money, outside of the game, when PLEX is 33% more expensive than a regular monthly fee?

Please reduce the price of PLEX to $15.

I think you're missing the whole point. You're not supposed to buy PLEX for your own account, you buy them to sell.

I don't think CCP are trying to incentivise players making real money off EVE... so you are thinking about this all wrong.

None since that would be a bannable offence. Selling any in game item out of game for RL money is RMT, The only way to buy PLEX out of game is via GTCs which are then redeemed in game and cannot be reversed.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...
