Whats your favourite and least favourite PvP

Here is mine to start you off



1. Favourite form of PvP
Ninja Kills. Nothing better than flying through enemy territory making a kill and getting out. Its the closest you can get to Han Solo.

2. Least Favourite PvP Industry PvP.
Putting up a Sell order and an hour later you have been undercut by 10 people. I once tried to sell a million missiles at cost price just to get rid of them. 2 hours later i was undercut by at least 8 people. "Intradesting" i thought to myself. " i forgot that these people are not Economists and trying to play smart on the market is near impossible when people have no idea what they are doing.


Bonus PvP section


3. Forum PvP can be the best PvP. Goons are exceptional at this as ill show below

(i) forum locked after 4 pages of anger = ship destroyed. (best when it is not your fault and question is reasonable)

(ii) banned from forums = pod destroyed.

Ive been banned twice on this toon so i cant say anything naughty. Congrats to the Goons who know the Eula and any infraction against them will be reported on mass until banishment happens.

(loads of people were banned over the "my apology thread"

Favorite: Vulturing.
I sit outside stations waiting for a fight. I watch the combating parties and wait for a death, then I loot/salvage (usually both). If I get a decent take I dock and unload the cargo. If its not much, I stay outside and wait more.
I only wait out the timer if I have to do something in RL, other wise I stay outside to try to get more grabs. Doesn't always work out in my favor though...

Least favorite: .01ing. I hate market battles so much that am willing to take a loss if something doesn't sell quickly.

I'll offer a twist on the Ninja raid as my favorite. 5-10 guys go in flying suicide destroyers and frigs, maybe a fast cruiser or two. Gank a farmer or two before getting caught by reactionaries that come to the rescue piecemeal. Kill 1 or 2 of them before running away. Half the of the raid takes the clone express home and the other half runs home with smoking hulls. Attrition warfare at its best.

Least favorite? The roaming blob. No strategy. No planning. Just 100-200 of your closest friends wandering enemy space in the most expensive thing they can fly, wishing the other guys would come out to play. Either they show up with 200-400 of their closest friends (with just about as much planning) and you run away or melt, or the only thing you see is the lone straggler that fails to pay attention to the intel channel and evaporates on contact. Power without purpose.

15 systems to look for a fight in lowsec. 3 jumps into null get blobbed , bubbled and podded. Ending up in station wondering why i play this game.

I have more space likes than you.

Favourite PVP: Fighting outnumbered. Nothing like the feeling that you're gonna die.
Least Favourite: Blobs, F1 receive killmail, pos bashing

I like explosions a lot, especially when they are really near and I can see my beautiful pod in space. Luckily, there are many nice and helpful gentlemen out there who try help me with this every day.

On your market pvp: so you got 8 idiots to sell their wares below mineral value. Good job. You should have waited several days, until those suckers realize their error and withdraw their sell orders in shame. (or you could have bought their stuff and reprocessed it). With the competition gone, you could have dictated the prices for a while. If CCP wanted scourge missiles to cost less than 50 isk, they wouldn't have allowed us to become so greedy....

On forum pvp: if you get banned you lose. The trick is to lure other people into posting stuff that gets them banned...Blink
