Ready for level 4 missions?

I am considering purchasing a Vindicator for level 4 missions. Lately I have been getting agents for them. I would appreciate any fits for this ship with my skills. Here is my eveboard http://eveboard.com/pilot/Zornia_Estemaire. I am now starting on better drone skills but this will take about 2 months before I get to heavy and sentry II's. In addition, I already have a Navy Mega. Would this ship be OK for these missions or should I go with the Vindicator?

The Megathron will only frustrate you, try a Dominix instead.

quick question: is there any subcap drone boat that can deal dps comparable to a nightmare or mach?

I should buy an Ishtar.

Consider the Kronos. it is cheaper than vindi, bit more sp intensive, but much more tuned towards solo PVE.

If you wanna rat in a pirate boat, Mach and Nightmare both >> vindi for range, and rattlesnake bonuses drones. any of those 3 performs better solo than a vindi in PVE. Vindis do best with linki logi, scimi/oneiros depending on how you tank your vindis.

A navy Megathron will serve you just fine.

Do not spend money on a vindicator just yet. Use the Navy mega until you are completely sure you know how to run each of the lvl 4's you will be given.

No point losing a vindy if you miss read or get wrong the mission report survival guide.


If you have poor drone skills. Ignore the domi for now.

Zornias drone skills aren't that bad. The big plus for the Domi is that you can fit a very comfortable tank, which makes it easier getting into LVL 4's and learn how they work. Give it a try. :)

Considering your skills, go for a Machariel, since you don't have the skills for a Vindicator right now.
Machariel will outdamage a Vindi in most scenarios.

You will need Mini BS V, Gallente BS IV, nice Shieldskills, Large Autocannon Spec IV and decent Drone Skills to fly a Mach.

Untill you reach this level of Sp, fly a Maelstrom.

To get a Domi to a decent level, you'll nedd at least 2-4 Mil Sp more in Drones...
