It's a lesson he got early on, but one that will serve him well for the rest of his time in the game: don't haul expensive items in cheap, untanked ships.

OP, that PLEX is gone, and you'll never see it again.

Ditto.

No doubt in my mind that little PLEX has been sold back into the market to someone else who will either stock it for reselling or use it to extend game time. Sorry OP, but your PLEX is gone. Adapt or die.

Yeah man. I'd normally troll the hell out of someone for doing this...but since you're wet behind the ears I'll leave you a couple quick tips, some already addressed here I'm sure:

1.) Never fly expensive stuff in an easy to kill ship (i.e. anything with less than 50k EHP)
2.) Never fly PLEX around. You don't need to. Redeem it in the station you want to use/sell it at.
3.) Never autopilot anywhere.
4.) Never autopilot anywhere (repeated for emphasis)
5.) Never go AFK while undocked. Bad things happen when you're not around in space, even in highsec.
6.) Trust no one that you can't reach out and physically punch in the junk.
7.) If it's too good to be true, it isn't...but that's general common sense, yet even more applicable in EVE.
8.) There is no free lunch.
9.) There is no sex in the champagne room. Thank you, Dave Chappelle, for letting us know.
10.) When coming into lowsec (0.4-0.1 sec system) be fully prepared to lose your ship the moment you jump through. If you see me, be certain nothing good will come out of your visit.

Are you serious, Cyrius? (See what I did there?)

Anywho, you were moving a plex without knowing what you were doing, do you deserved it.

I call BS.
1. You sir have no kill mail. AKA.. never happened. Checking your losses and Eli Porter's kills, nothing there. Infact Eli Porter hasn't killed anyone since 2010, and you yourself have never been killed.

I think he was talking about this ELI PORTER...

http://eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=1346041&view=kills&m=04&y=2012

...rather than this dude...

http://eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=360404

Notice the difference in capitalization and different corps.

After examining the OP's loss...

http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=13121986

The kill is not API verified. Please keep in mind that Eve-Kill.net seems to track kills that even I didn't know I had in the first and I'm confident that all of them are API verified. What's weird about it is that I don't recall giving my API information to this website. I wonder how it extracts the information.

2. You can't fly anything on your 2nd day that would be worth a plex. The tutorials give you about 20 million in isks and ships... more than enough for 2 day old person.
3. Your asking the C&P channel to hunt down a person who killed you and took your plex. Then you want them to give it back to you... for a "cut of the sale". WHO does this!?
The only logical conclusion is your a active player looking for sympathy donations.. which is a good idea and I wish i thought of it. Game recognize game.. keep up the good fight. But lets spin it a little better... If you go to one of the trade channels and spam that you just got conned out of your plex. You may get more rich bears to toss some plex your way. Here in C&P you only really have fans of crime.
/hats off to you sir and good luck on short con. [/quote

Wow you sir are a total pessimist, I am not conning anyone or trying to in any which way, my records do state I was killed by him and I did lose my plex to him, I was offering an incentive to help me get it back if possible that is all....

OP, can you please provide a killmail that is API verified so that we can all rest assured that this happened? It has been historically known throughout New Eden that killmails that are "not" API verified can be manipulated by a few simple keystrokes before they are submitted to a killboard. So please don't be surprised about Longinius Spear's pessimism as well as that of my own.

This being eve - even if someone was in a position to retrieve the PLEX very few wouldn't just keep it for themselves.

As the guy that killed your ship is probably a gank alt unless someone can dig up who their main is (and the chances of that are slim) the only way to really get even is to train up an alt to a decent rifter or similiar and wardec his corp, then chase him around highsec either killing his gank ships or forcing him to fit out PVP ships to come after you - both of which results in grief for him and most likely he will biomass the char and start a new gank alt.

That or he be like me and enjoy the fun of someone trying to chase him and fight. And I doubt the OP can put up much of a fight as a new character, and new player. A while back when we started with 800k sp you could put up a fight in a rifter on more verteran players if you knew what you were doing. I had an alt with less than a days training who did that, and won and annoyed a lot people while pirating back than, but as a player I knew what I was doing.

So what I do is write his name down in the notepad section you have and start "Hit list" for eve on people who you want to get in the future when you are able to fight or can pay someone to do so for you. Assuming you can hold a grudge. After all it would be quite annoying to randomly have someone start hunting you down when you think there is no reason. Could also make a new character and infiltrate his corp and steal from them and whatever else you want to do, like pick fights with other corps to start wars between them, steal from them, etc.

Welcome to Eve. Everyone here is an Evil Sick Sadistic Bastard who is out to get you. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either trying to scam you or use you.

Why in the hell would you buy a PLEX when you're two days old? The first time anybody would need a PLEX is for a Hulk (Industrialist character) or a Raven or other Level 4 ship. And both those ships can only be bought at least 2 months in.
