a week or so ago i saw a picture of 150 titans in a system milling around like terds in a bowl. i cant remember who owned them, but i pondered this...would it be safe to assume that dekco could field at least 150 titans in one blob? it takes around a 4 billion units of trit to build a titan. that is the equivalance of 80 archon carriers worth of trit in one floating terd. so we are talking a fleet of 12000 archons to build 150 titans. where do they get all that trit? duh from roids? yah, but where are those roid fields located. does dekco mine their own ore. a hulk can produce 100,000 m3 of ore per hour. 100k of veld yields 3,000,000 units of trit. it would take 1332 hours of mining to yield 4 billion units of tritanium. times that by 150 and u get 199,800 hours of mining necessary to yield enough trit to build those 150 terds. and im not counting the time necessary to mine any other mineral to build those ships. so where does all that tritanium come from

i thought of 3 possible sources

1. dekco mines all of its own minerals. there are approximately 7,000 members in goons alliance. it would take approximately 28 hours per member of mining to produce the trit they would need to build 150 titans. some how that doesnt seem likely... a goon in a hulk? nahhhhhh

2. the goons run a sophisticated botting network of miners that works 23/7 to produce all those mins. i am not saying they do im just speculating it could be a possibility for them to yield the minerals required to build 150 titans.

3. the third possibility is that they buy minerals from hi sec markets compress them and build their ships in dekco or they buy the ships prebuild from another corp/alliance who buys the mins from hi sec and builds the ships

now if number 3 is the correct answer...the minerals come from hi sec...then that presents a different picture of the goons. that makes them two faced. they go on with great pleasure how they like ganking hi sec care bear miners and ice miners in their hulkageddon and on the other hand they need those same miners to produce the minerals they need to build their ships for their battles. thats hypocrisy in its truest form.

Assuming everything else is true your last point it's still a non sequitur.

I can enjoy torturing you and making your life miserable but i could still be dependent on you; that does not make me an hypocrite.

Also never thought about the fact that you are more valuable to me distressed and constantly struggling than relaxed and satisfied?

Just some thoughts.

4. they used their moongoo iskies to buy the minerals and let the sellers worry about where it came from.

Pubbies mine trit in highsec, goonalt buys tritanium, and "crafts" 425mm Railgun Is, guns are jump freighted down and refined into trit, which is moved to production POS.

Several weeks later, titan emerges !

Sell us all your valuable veldspar now. Oh and you're all not manually mining that veldspar, to throw more spurious accusations about.

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

DIdn't you know we're demons CCP conjured up from the netherworld to "provide" "player-driven" "content"?

They took a station in syndicate and etched into it the symbol of the ancient bee, and look what came forth. Have you seen the Hel's description?

”Imagine a dozen deadly hornets pouring from the devil’s mouth. Now imagine they have autocannons.”

You've seen a rifter swarm, ja?

That said, if mining the lower end minerals becomes more worthwhile than ABC, no wait that won't happen, so continue to sell us your hours of trit for a few hours less of ABC refined into minerals.

OP, the option 3 is correct for all of 0.0

Where do you think all of those low ends come from, high-sec.

Moon goo and High-end minerals come from 0.0 and low-ends go out .

Yeah, apparently that's what the pubbies call the CFC.

Maybe the name is offensive to their sensibilities. Maybe CONCORD will shoot them if they say it out loud in the expanse of space.
