Now since the cat's out of the bag, the bonus is actually not attached to the hull, but the "Power Core Multiplier" sub system. Explains the really odd loadouts on Battleclinic.

Beware the stacking penalties if you have 2 or more on grid at a time

We had 4 on grid a while ago and almost nothing dropped.
