Which year was that? They seem similar to me it's just some of the subjects are no longer talked about because they've been resolved.

EVE only works when all the different game systems that make EVE what it is, work.

Yes, EVE is PvP at heart – but PvP is not just gun PvP. What makes EVE work is the sandbox.

That's market PvP, industry PvP, mission runners, WH explorers, 0.0 alliances, industrialists on all other gamestyles that make up New Eden.

Tip the scale too much in either direction, you start losing diversity, and the possibilities for the emergent gameplay that keeps EVE ticking become less.

Remove the carebears, and the gun PvPers might just as well pull their ships from a vending machine.

If free for all PvP with no consequences is the only thing you want, then yes, rally for your cause.

If not, just accept the fact that people with different playstyles will of course lobby for changes that make their game more enjoyable.

For every carebear posting a whine thread, there are 10 'pvp'-ers telling them to HTFU. My advice to you: HTFU yourself. Go play the game and stop posting your own whiny threads every 15 mins.

The OP should unsubscribe. Its stupid to think that everyone has to play the game the same way. With over 5000 solar systems in the game there is enough for CCP to support variety of play styles, PvP, PvE, market, and indy players alike.

EVE industry does support PvP but it also supports PvE.

Industry is PVP based.

PVP over materials , production slot, manufacturing cost etc.
