Recon ships would be a lot easier to fly if...

I'm not sure if the Falcon is even redesignable its so weird looking... The curse looks like it belongs in a Star Trek Enterprise Movie... and noone even has clue where to begin with the Arazu... makes ya quesy just by doing a "look at".Oops

Curse is the batmobile of space but I will grant you that the Celestis hull looks like a cancerous growth.

Who cares if they're ugly, half the time you're cloaked.

As for the other half, Curse looks awesome. And uh... Well... The others... Now I kinda see your point.

The Bellicose and Celestis hulls have character.

Blackbird hulls are fine.

Arbitrator hulls are awesome.

I wouldn't say Arbitrator hull is ugly. Probably because I've hard time finding better looking cruiser hulls.

True, but they exist. The Maller is the best. Then the Caracal, Executor, Rupture, and Augoro IMHO. They *could* make the recon ships look decent if that wanted to.

I don't like the arbitrator for the same reason I don't like the Drake... its just a flat piece of hull without anything 3-dimensionally interesting about it.

Personally I look the like of most of the recons. My favorites are the curse/pilgrim followed by the Lachesis/Arazu, then Huggin/Rapier. The Rook/Falcon I could do without though.

While the shape of the Rook and Falcon is ugly, it kind of makes sense. Basically, they took a building with lots of computers that specialize in causing targeting malfunctions, then just locked all the employees inside, bolted on some engines and launched that sucker into space.

Huginn and Rapier look a little back-heavy to me, but they're not as bad as the odd growth/dog turd things that are the Celestis hulls.

The Curse is personally one of my favorite ships to look at, because it almost looks like it's using space camouflage. Makes a hell of a lot more sense than the Navy ships at least. The Arbi hull shape is fine, although the middle-rear always looked a little incomplete, almost Minmatar with its frame parts showing.

The Blackbird is one of the few good Caldari Hulls left that is also a decent ship.

The Celestis hull is terrible. The Arbitrator hull looks great. The Blackbird hull looks like a ship that fills an ECM role.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Actually the closest thing the Falcon resembles is a Borg Type 03

Caldari Pilot here... I like the caldari hulls. With few exceptions. They are unique, undeniable EVE, and most importantly, they defy the norm of symetry.

Caldari ship thoughts only...

The ships I do not like are:
1. Tengu- cannot put a finger on it, just don't like it.
2. Rokh- no character referred to by my mates as a "giant stapler" or "over/under shotgun without the butstock"
3. New Scorpion- too symetrical and beefy looking for what it does, was actually a fan of the old one.
4. Caracal- (looks unbelieveably flimsy)

Ships I like the most are:
1. Ferox (looking forward to seeing how they tweak this ship)
2. Chimera (best looking capital ship)
3. Blackbird (initally joined the game to fly recons, and this ship hull was the one I was drawn to)
4. Moa (yes that's right, I love this little gem)

I think I whole heartedly disagree with about every single thing on your list. Especially the scorpion (the new scrop is awesome) and the caracal looks cool. The moa is a turkey with a suitcase.
