So yea here is the post.

I know eve chat system has a bit of a IRC background (or atleast has hidden IRC like features). Why not introduce some of it?

Allow for 'afk' banner, allow for some kind of PM inside a channel, and introduce a function where 'blink' is off unless people type your name.

Would enhance eve a lot, because face it, eve = fancy IRC client right? Blink

I like the idea of having a channel blink if only certain people talk.

Someone say IRC? but all seriousness +1 for the thought I like it would be handy in major fleet operations
