I have done a google search, since it is not in SurivlalGuide.org.

Only hits I can come up with are about 6 months old when the mission was bugged.
Can anyone give me insights on DPS to expect, triggers, what is needed to be killed to end mission, etc?

Thanks.

I ran it yesterday. Did not identify triggers as I was trying to stay in one piece. As for DPS, I ran into mercs, angels and guristas. In the last room after killing the target mission is marked complete.

Comparable to an Extravaganza with mixed NPCs.

It's one of those where the target appears in the first room then flees. Next time I will try and warp scramble and kill and see if it counts.

And how is Spiny Norman?

Is it entirely impossible for people to do missions without their hands being held?

I ran this yesterday in a gang of three. You come across different types of NPC's so it's best to fit an omni tank and in the second pocket there is heavy ECM, it's also good to supply yourself with missiles or similar with different types of resist damage. The trigger will be found at every pocket but you cannot destroy it until the fourth and final pocket as it warps out before you can kill it (which is also the trigger).

I did not run into any of the bug problems reported a while back and mission completed with no problems either.

Loot and bounties are quite good, comparable to Guristas Extraveganza as Orlacc stated.

I've had it three times today. The npcs you come up against are randomish - I came up against serpentis, blood raiders, guristas and angels each time I ran it but they weren't always the same types or in the same places. Be careful if you have a salvage alt as there may be a time based trigger for some rats - you leave a room thinking its clear and your alt runs into more rats. Bounties are very good but due to sheer number of rats it takes time.

not true. i insta popped the "trigger" in each pocket...

I note that i ran into bloods/serpentis/gurista and angels in this mission.

finnaly a non generic mission.

also on a side note. you can bm the game and warp off and come back at sniper range for all the rooms.
where is my ability to link a sig properly CCP you munters!!

Also got it couple days before for the first time. What did I found:
on arriving: Serpentis,
1st room: Blood Raiders,
2nd room: Serpentis,
3rd room: Guristas and Blood Raiders. This one was the worst, as right from the start got scrambled by Dire Pithis and constantly jammed by two Nullifiers, it took few minutes even to send my drones on scramblers.
After killing named NPC the mission flagged as completed, but there still are few waves of NPC battleships if you want, triggered by the last one of previous wave.
Decent bounties - totally 33mil incl. mission reward, loot/salvage approx 20mil. But took a bit too long because of distant gates and npcs being spawned too far in the last room (like 115-120km), spent on that almost 1hr.

I noticed that the Gate Key is NOT consumed upon activation of the gate . Also i noticed that after a new spawn in the pocket 3 , i could take the gate freely . It let me thinks that none of the gate are actually locked (aside of the first one where you need the Gate key , but not ship-locked) and that you can just blitz it through the end , and complete it just by killing this one BC . Haven't test it yet , someone can confirm or infirm this ?

Also yeah , nice bounty mission .

First, a shout-out to the CCP PvE crew (Team Commie Pinkos?) — thank you for this mission, it's entertaining of itself and I welcome the novelty of having new mission to run Big smile

The first gate is locked until (a) all NPCs are dead and (b) someone with the key unlocks it. The remaining gates are locked until all the NPCs are dead. The only "blitz" for this mission is to kill the target NPC in the last room and leave. But then you leave those juicy 1M+ ISK battleships — being Gallente, you get to blow most of them up long before they get to shoot you, so it's basically free ISK. Some of the salvage from this mission is attractive too.

Watch out for the many different range that NPCs will maintain. Angel Cartel of course like short-range attacks, some of the Serpentis will get in close to use blasters, others will stay at 80-100km sniping with rails, and there are a couple of tackle frigates.

Did it last night with relative ease. I did it for Internal Security and I remember Facing Guristas, Serpentis, Angels and Blood Raiders.

If i remember correct it was 4 stages. The mission target dies with relative ease.

I remember leaving a few rats in one of the rooms, so I would guess that only the first room is locked.

I really need to do this mission again and test it further.

Soo... this is the most exciting mission in eve at the moment ?

find it frustrating with all the different variations that appears to be :P
Will put in 3 types of ammo and go for kind of an omni tank then :P also. theres SOME travel distance, warp in alone had me long for MWD or Ab

From my recall of this mission...
Get gate key in first pocket.
while burning to acceleration gate.. shoot trigger and jump.
Do the same thing for remaining pockets until final pocket in which you must kill the trigger for completion.

Very blitz able. I completed in Tengu with 10mn burner no issue. Standard tank 1 x Invul and 1 x Photon.

FInal pocket does however have a few jamming Frigates you should worry about if you cant tank.

Well, judging by what I faced compared with everyone who has posted here and write ups on eve-survival, the spawns in this mission are completely random.

The jist of this mission is omni tank and be able to deal omni damage in some fashion as you will likely face a couple ships from each pirate faction throughout the 4 pockets.

Kudos to CCP for both a new mission and the added bit of variability. It's a bit of excitement in a mission to not know exactly what you're about to face. :)

I hope they make more missions like this. Being able to look up the mission and know exactly what to expect has become alarmingly too simple. The only danger in L4's nowadays seems to be when you first start doing them, but after a while, you're more worried about watching for probes on d-scan than the missions' "high-threat targets". Even scram/web frigs are more an anoyance than real danger if you've done the mission a couple of times. Keep this going CCP, nice work.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

if you clear a pocket and warp out (had to empty coargohold) when you warp back in there will be a different set of rats there, (so you can double the amount of rats in a mission if your there for the bounties)works twice for each pocket. like someone else said fit for omni tank and second pocket can be a pain due to ecm, sat there for 20mins constantly locked in a torp boat waiting for drones to chew on BS and throwing volleys when i could get a breif lock. id probably take a cnr with fofs in next time. mission is flagged complete when you kill the pirate in last pocket. each room has a gate thats 25km away.

2nd room: first spawn Serpentis, second time you warp in Guristas that ecm heavily.

edit : thx ccp, made a change from the same old missions.

What type of mission is this? Not a standard security mission as you can accept it remotely? I was looking at it from the "agent finder", was an agent I never used but had faction for...

I still have it offered, but can't look at it till I'm home from work. Thanks.

The "accept remotely" thingy , i think , is a goal for CCP : To get every single mission who does NOT provide an item to be able to be accepted remotely , and to make every mission who does NOT require an item in order to be completed to be able to be completed remotely .

Would cut a lot of warp-time , which would be GREAT .
