I get that you all at CCP are trying to improve the game and all, but do you really need to change EVERYTHING? Did cold-gas arc jet thrusters really need a name change? If it makes it less confusing for new players I guess whatever, but every change messes with the vets, so make sure it's worth it.

My real gripe here though is you didn't even make the new name uniform. Put the 100/10/1mn first so when they show up listed they are in the proper order. EG "100MN Experimental Afterburner II". Now it shows up in the list with the rest of the 100mn speed boosters.

Or you could add a "sort by size" option to the list.

AFK cloaking doesn't earn anything, so it needs a buff!

depends on how you display your hanger/container. It also tends to sort weird if you order by size in the list view.

god i hate all these name changes
they used to be products. with brand names. commercially viable items that made sense to have everywhere and have drop from rat ships.

now ..

now they aren't even finished

limited
upgraded


Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.

they have they're still going around renaming stuff.

If you want an example of the new standard they're using look at the RLMLs, we just need to remind ccp to convert AB and MWDs to that.

my biggest issue with the renames was the crap wasn't hard to remember. Frigates for example...life was real simple. You either ran t2, ran faction/deadspace, or you ran cold gas (catalyzed for mwd). Cruisers had their goto...bs had thiers. Any pvp fit...same damned high meta prop mod. PVE fit...its your money maker, splurge for faction/DS. Or got smug with AWU 5 and other max fitting skills to fit t2 and not killl the rest of the fit.


Damn name change for people who failed to notice 900/1000 rifter fits ran gas of some kind. Rest splurged on type B or C prop mods. Cheap as chips for frigates if you catch thhe markets at good times (then stockpile them if you can). Batlleclinic, failheap, other sites...gas gas, gas, gas, gas, gas. Gee what should I run when I can't fit t2 prop mods on my AF?
