It is possible now to hotlink items by typeID

Example: http://www.eve-cost.eu/calculator/index/12003

Added "Save Price" button to General Results box. It allows you to save manufacturing cost of one unit or minimum sell cost of one unit. For example this allows more easily to calculate the prices of capital construction parts or some of the materials for t2 manufacturing.

Example: You open Erebus in the calculator. In the materials list you click on Capital Armor Plates calc link. It opens new tab in your browser where you calculate armor plate price and save the price. You close the tab and press "Get Saved Prices" button on Erebus page.

Some small feedback, as a producer of T2/T3 items its very tedious to enter all the prices manually. So i would suggest to add some form of price grabbing engine. The currently best tool out there is IPH, since i can nicely import and setup prices the way i want and they reflect actual currently market data. For me its very important to get current data and the ability to separately import raw material prices via "min sell" and finished products via the "max buy" option.

I looked at various indy sites and while they all have nice tools and setup, they all lack the flexible price import and calculation options IPH has. On the other hand IPH lacks the "new project" feature and has no statistical features.

Thank you for feedback. I will start working on price importing features.

I am thinking of adding eve-central fetching and maybe eve "export file" importing also.

I guess eve-central/eve-marketeer is fine, the main advantage of eve-marketeer is the 5% lookup api, which better represents avg./median prices. On the other hand eve-central seems more stable and faster and also allows u to import a large daily dump to reduce overhead.

As example check out the production calculator of http://eve.addicts.nl its fast and simple, it still misses the more adv. price filtering options, but as a first evaluation gets the job done.

Added EVE-Central price fetching.

It is first release candidate and can contain bugs. Please report them if you see any.
Each item typeID has 30min cache.

Would be nice to also fetch the price of the finished product :) aka "Market Sell Price". I also like the options in IPH, where u can setup sell/buy prices individually. As a example, i use the 5% sell prices for import raw mats and components, but often use the 5% buy orders for the finished product. This way i make sure even if the sales volume is low in the worst case i simply can sell to the buy orders and still make a profit. So maybe add 2 price setup lines, one for input prices and one for output prices.

I also like to directly see where my production bill goes to mainly, so maybe rearrange the raw materials and the components with separate sup sums. This is because i need to decide weather i produce the components myself or not, but if the components only make up 10% of the finished product, it might not be worth it. Also try sort each category by price, since i only care what the 2 most expansive ingredients cost and check the market for it accordingly.

Except from this it looks to work fine so far, good job. I really like the percentile import, since for med to large volume production i really don't care about those 0.1% lowest sell prices, which messes up most other production tools/websites calculations.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percentile

Quote:
In statistics, a percentile (or centile) is the value of a variable below which a certain percent of observations fall.

Basically, it's a calculation that drops the outliers. But I don't know exactly how eve-central has implemented it.

Added warehouse custom lists.

Now you can sort your warehouse items to custom lists. Example you can make T2 materials list, T2 products or capital components etc. To add and remove itemtypes from custom list, just edit the list while viewing that particular list.

WARNING: Clicking on Delete button in a itemType row deletes that itemType from whole warehouse!

PS: EVE-Central query for Market Sell Price is coming.

Added EVE-Central query for Market Sell Price.

Brokers Fee checkbox option for materials will be added soon. Then you can define if you are buying them with buy orders or for example from a player, where Brokers Fee does not apply.

EVE-Central settings will be changed to a bit more comfortable aswell. Current idea is that Systems selectbox shows only currently selected Region systems.

Changed EVE-Central settings. Please refresh to update browser cache. Now the system select box will show only selected region systems. EVE-Central settings have been deleted for ALL users. Sorry for this. You can just reset them.

Because of this change, the calculator page has a lot better performance. It does not have to load all the systems anymore.

Added option to ignore rows in cart for "All" quantity/price calculations.

For example now you can just ignore rows which market orders are already up if making new shopping list.

I like the tool, but the Warehouse is quite useless (or i haven't understand how to use it yet).
Would it be possible to fetch the quantity via Eve-API of each item from market orders? So if i have different sell orders for an item, sum the quantites up and show them in the warehouse.

Also some statistics would be nice, e.g. income per day/week/month, or amount of traded/sold items by item per day, ...

It would be also helpful, if the transactions table shows where the transaction occured.

Fantastic tool, all that's missing for me is a live market price grab on the refining calculator, and a corp take. I have my own spreadsheet that'll breakdown from ore is supplied how much I should pay the member, and how much I keep for myself, and how much is lost from station tax.

If this tool had all of that in, I wouldn't need anything else! Very good work, LOVE the manufacturing calculator! Big smile
