or do what every competent explorer does and put a salvager on your tengu?
not like you need to salvage very many wrecks.

I call bullshiz. Competent Tengu pilots don't burn a high-slot on a Salvager.

I'm going to assume you took the mastercard way to that Tengu.

Bookmark a wreck in each room, the site will despwan but the wrecks will remain, all shiny and impossible to be probed down. It's standard procedure for looting missions/complexes.

Partly true, lot of bullshit included with that reply. Wrecks, cans, player owned ships and structures can be scanned down by someone who is competent at using the Directional Scanner. Even though player ships and exploration sites can be found a lot easier with probing. Also I wouldn't consider low sec and null sec operations as standard procedure.

To the OP:
I suggest having probes show on overview and have the Directional Scanner set to use active overview setting. Do a scan every few seconds and when probes show up on Directional Scan, cloak up and be ready to warp out to a safe spot. For expeditions, I usually do something like a 'Scorched Earth' policy by quickly checking wrecks for top loot and then destroy them. Trick is to not let a lot of wrecks build up in the initial room. Expedition locations can't be found with probing but the wrecks will show in Directional Scanner. The final room or area where the Overseer is could be bookmarked and after destroying all NPC's, warp out for the site to despawn, go fit up salvager and warp back to bookmark and collect salvage and loot. Mainly the Overseer and or Commander NPC's are the prime objective, all the other NPC ships are expendable.

Hmm If this is a 10/10 and the OP is soloing, it will be heavy missiles..

A hour or 2 to complete say 5 rooms of a 10/10 as well as the overseer/station I think is normal.

If the distance from the acceleration gate to the room is the same as in normal missions (10000km iirc), you should theoretically even be able to slowboat there if the gate is gone: All you need is the direction of the wrecks narrowed down on your d-scan and a fast ship.

Je suis Berlin // Fort Lauderdale // London // St. Petersburg // Stockholm

Confirming it's possible. Also confirming it's painful.
