Did CCP fire their GMs?

I have 3 open petitions since a good time. I did not create them all together but they keep piling up since nobody answers them. They are on different topics as well.

for starters, talking about petitions on the forums usually just gets you attention you don't want. Secondly, the GM's did not get fired. They are simply either busy, or purposely ignoring you. Perhaps the latter depending on how often you pester them about trivial things...

Something clever

Confirming that GM's are still active, both my petitions this week were answered within a few hours. Obviously they love me more than you.

Well one of my petitions was just asking if a skill applied in a certain ship. Not so big work.

Id be surprised if that even gets answered, or if it does it will be somewhere down the line. It is a pretty tirival question that can be answered by one of the following methods:

Google,
Corp mates,
Alliance Mates,
Ship info,
Skill info.

Mine were both about semi serious stuff, harrassement (care bear didnt like getting blown up trollolol) and issues with multiple clients locking down my pc and grinding it to a halt. Had to submit a bug report for the second one, derp.

I couldn't think of anything more important to maintaining good customer relations than devoting precious resources to answering inquiries borne of idle fancy such as this.

Then I tried a bit harder and thought of about 50. Consult Google next time.

Which skill and which ship, out of interest?

If only they put the "Skills" in their petitions choices box.

Oh wait they did.

Yes and I am willing to bet one of my kidneys that this is intended for skill related issues such as lost skills, lost skillpoints and other related issues.

Mine are about a skill, about what can be done with the EULA in a certain situation (this one is hard) and about a bug report. Last time I inquired about a bug (that they fixed), they replied in like 4 hours.

Just give it some time man, out of curiousity just how long is "long ago" for you?
Like someone said, posting on the forums about petitions does not get you a quicker response

I think i had 1 and a half weeks for an exploit petition... harassment is like 30min.. CCP just has really bad customer service... they only gave me a week to reply so I never got around to it... how can they give LESS time than it takes them to reply...

Hows this support LOL

Just wanted to say that GM's react differently to different types of petitions. One of mine which I would consider as very important and tricky was answered immediately even though it involved a lot of work for GM's. The others took bit more time but I don't mind that since I didn't consider them as game breaking for me either.

So overall my impression with service from GM's so far is very impressive considering how few they are.

My last petition took about 8 days for a first response. And I don't petition much, maybe once a year. Strange to be bad at this time, I expect it to take forever when an expansion is launched as everyone has problems, but now they have no excuse. The GM staff must have been gutted by the layoffs, another reason to thank Incarna for all its blessings.

I resumed faith in CCP's customer service when they answered and solved one of my petitions last Christmas morning.

I did spend some time mulling over which one of us was sadder, me for playing eve online on Christmas morning or the GM for working and answering my petition on Christmas....

Maybe he actually answered it week earlier, but scripted it to appear to you on Christmas. Lol
