Quick question:

Is it petitionable if you lose a ship and get podded if your client freezes, but does not disconect, causing you to be unable to issue any commands?

Would this even show up in any logs? I ask because this happened to me the other day for the first time, and at the worst point - during a bombing run. I have a decent PC (Win 7 64bit, 4Gb RAM, Radeon HD 5800, AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Ed) so it's not like it's struggling to play EVE...

Most likely not. Even if you disconnect they can't really verify who's at fault (server, connection, you unplugging your network card, etc.).

Do the freezes happen seldomly or more often? If so, try to use lower graphic settings (I remember having freezing issues with my GTX 295 using some driver versions when antialiasing was enabled).

I almost had a heart attack when my whole god damn system froze right when some guy warped on top of me in a lowsec system. Luckily the guy chickened out, but had I been killed then you bet your ass I would have been reimbursed, otherwise there would be hell to pay.

The way I see it, if I have to restart my whole computer because of the Eve client I expect nothing less than a complete reimbursement and an apology.
