If bob had won maybe prencleeve would be obsessed with SirMolle?

If Bob had won maybe prencleeve wouldn't have a little shrine of Mittani in his closet and a 20ft hole dug out in the basement.

Do you smell what the Lock's cooking?

The same that happened the other two times BoB beaten Goons. Goons went back to Syndicate.

The decline of BoB was probably inevitable so if the Goons had failed to defeat them, then somebody else would have instead.

They'd probably do the same as goons would do.
Have a pact with CCP to produce player driven content.

most likely. bob had allot of enemies.
and there was many individuals within the alliance who had less than honorable intentions.
i know since i was one of them at first.
however in my case and for several others initial plans were soon dropped because we started having so much fun shooting goonies instead.

The Goons beat BOB by meta gaming they didn't beat them by combat.
The Goon's had some help in the combat department.

So question is did the Goon's just voice what 0.0 was already thinking ?
Or did the 0.0 alliances fall into rapture at the voice of the Goon's and let there blood lust take over.

So you really have to decide if the 0.0 Alliances really wanted BOB removed before you can answer your question.

If the 0.0 Alliances wanted BOB removed then it would have happened with or without the Goon's
If 0.0 Alliances fell prey to the voice of Goon's then BOB would still be around.

All 0.0 alliances are around because the rest of 0.0 lets them remain.
That includes the Goon's.
The Goon's are only a 0.0 Sov holding alliance because the Rest of 0.0 allows it,
Which amuses me to know end Big smile

BoB died because the old ways could not survive the new Eve culture.

Edit: I'm pretty sure the rest of nullsec has tried to get rid of the GSF. But with GSF and their friends they're hard (impossible) to beat.

Without Goon support the NC would have failed.
BoB, financed by Technetium would not have fallen to Russian botting federation.

Thinking that is a weakness in itself.

ehm lol @ new eve culture.
what i see everywhere today is people adopting the way we played and in many cases became our masters.
there is no old culture that suddenly got old and disappeared. it is culture evolved.

and i dont think GSF is impossible to beat.
i have a strong feeling history will repeat itself yet again sometime in a not to distant future and the cycle will keep going.

Confirming that having friends is a weakness.

Also Araviel, let me rephrase. The culture of BoB didn't evolve with the rest of Eve.

Pissed off ex-GOONs would retire as hi-sec carebears and whine about every little thing BoB does.

Watch_ Fred Fred Frederation_ and stop cryptozoologist! Fight against the brutal genocide of fictional creatures across New Eden! Is that a metaphor? Probably not, but the fru-fru- people will sure love it!
