So CCP, what will the new loot tables be?

Given you are wiping out meta 0 loot drops, how will the probability tables be altered.

One of my chars is reaching the point of being able to fly a Marauder but is seriously debating if it makes economic sense to buy the skillbook and ship.

If all the meta 0 drops become a null value, instead of being distributed over the meta 1-4 items, this will making grabbing loot a pretty crappy proposition for a billion ISK boat (mods and rigs).
Further, depending on the distribution, a ton of meta 4 items could crash in value.

So can you give us a heads up now so some of us can plan our skill path now?

CCP said if a player can build it they don't want to see it drop anymore. So stop complaining.

I see your reading comprehension skills need some work.
I am aware what the reasons are.

I am asking if the changes will make Marauders worthless.

From what I've seen so far, probably. It may still be useful for salvaging, but then the Noctis does that much better now.

Meta 1-4 drop rates will be maintained because they are not aimply removing Meta 0 from the loot tables. They are replacing them with metal scraps. So the answer to your question would be, do you think you can obtain enough loot to make it worthwhile in Meta 1-4's only at their current drop rates?

Considering Metal Scraps are a guaranteed 500 Trit for 0.01m3...yeah. Should still be worth it.

I did not know that the meta 0 loot was being replaced with metal scraps.
I must have missed that in the dev blogs.
