Nice RMT when someone takes CCPs money noooooo when CCP does RMT it's okay... lul.

With any luck people will get bad cards, have warranty issues and sue CCP...

Why do you not understand what this means...
In game item prices will go up because of CCPs RMT...

Take mr tengu fleet... the guy can make a living buying plexs on market, getting vid cards and reselling them.

Want CCP to die? No I want ccp to stop being assholes.

Either you want RMT or not... we already pay a sub + have MT's in the game... now we have RMT too...

Actually, we had the sub first, then the RMT through PLEX, which has existed for years now, then we had MTs for vanity items that do not affect the game at all. Which is done through the PLEX system. And as far as the NEX store, it's not like you can only buy these things through your own hard earned money. You can also buy these things with isk, by buying a plex with isk. Yeah, Mr. Tengu fleet could buy a bunch of video cards with his incursioned isk. Mind you that at current prices the cost of that video card is about 20 billion isk. Also, only one card per account will be able to be purchased. Also also, he probably has to, you know, buy PLEX for his accounts, and also fund his PVP habit, which is why he runs the Tengu fleet in the first place.

Basically, to buy video cards for all 10 of his accounts, he would have to put in more work than he would at a regular job.

Edit: Because I may not have mentioned it. The video card is only going to be purchaseable with PLEX. And CCP hasn't figured out exactly how it will work.

Initial batch is only 100 graphics cards, or 2000 PLEX worth, or about 1 trillion ISK.

That will not have any noticeable effect on item prices. However if CCP continues this later that might be different story.

GTX560 about $250
PS3 about $300, throw in a bargin from Sony to help promote EVE players getting into PS3's I bet 20 PLEX could be doable.
