Will Dust be ported over to the PC at some point?

Hello Sexy people

I asked that question as when i first heard of dust i suddenly thought that the following could be true.......

Rush into a system and land on a planet with your squad and engage other players as you try to overcome there defences.

Up above you there is a fleet battle going on as other members engage in interplanetary bombardment with frigates doing low level straffing runs across the battlefield.

Eventually you get back in your ship and fly back into space.

Or will it just be another PS3 shooter

A better question might be "Will Dust be finished at some point" in all seriousness.

Since PS3 has exclusive rights, I would say its a PS3 only shooter.

From what I understood the PS3 exclusiveness was only for a period of time which left it open to the possibility of being ported to the 360 or PC later.

I could be wrong. I don't mind either way. I already have a keyboard and mouse for my PS3 if I really wanna use it. I do just fine with a controller but if it does come to PC you can bet I will get it on PC as well.

My guess is this is what CCP is hoping for. Get thier feet wet in the console market first as they already have the PC subscribers hooked and later when they stop making money off the console market port it to PC to get the hardcore PC fans to buy it and maybe even more.

How many times do we have to answer this question? Perhaps endlessly until people start learning how to catch up with the dev blogs and E3 broadcasts.

Yes usually Exclusive rights are like a contract and have a set time frame. However either 3 things could happen:
1.Dust will fail on Ps3 and due to that failure CCP won't have the will or finances to port it.
2.Dust will fail on Ps3 and in desperation port it to PC.
3.Dust is a raging success and sets the benchmark for all future FPS and is placed at the top for greatest FPS ever. It will also show that console FPS > PC FPS.

It MIGHT get EVENTUALLY ported to the PC, but I don't expect it to happen any time soon, IF it will happen at all.
And if it will happen, it will be after the console version has shut down.

Who at CCP do I have to have sex with to get DUST on the PC?

That's either an offer or a threat depending on how you look at it.

If it's ported to the PC it will become pretty much mandatory for anyone doing PI.
