These near-unique ships are the 2nd place prizes of Alliance Tournament VII. The team was given 10 blueprints to make 50 such ships. We have decide to put on auction the "Last PBC" of this 10 pcs that we have received.

    If the last freki in forums was sold for 28B, why would anyone buy freki in bulk for 30B each?

    We do not sell FREKI frigate because we believe that this Frigate have personal collector value, this time we put the PBC to the auction because it is the only such BPC in EVE and has a great collector's value.

    The real collector will understand our decision and the value of this BPC

    Actually, since the accident CCP had while cleaning databases, as it happens this is not the only BPC in the game, and any BPC that had 1 or 2 runs on it was restored to a 5 run clean state.

    So nice try, but the fact is that Frekis will go down in prices due to that.

    Not true. Nothing from the DB deletion spree has been restored yet. CCP Greyscale said those items are getting restored with the escalation patch. The actual BPC that got removed was the Mimir, and when they do restore that BPC it will have the correct number of runs on it. CCP only said that they were having a problem initially figuring out how to calculate remaining runs but that has been sorted. Currently a Freki, like any ship, is worth what people will pay for it. I'd say 30 bil is in the ballpark. (Disclaimer: I have a Freki) To be fair, Entity is kind of a unique item himself. I collect ships. Others collect whatever they want to collect, but only Entity to my knowledge has the ambition to collect EVERYTHING. I think he and maybe a few traders with deep pockets like Somer or Saleen would be interested in this BPC as a unique item. Others might be interested in it just for the Freki hulls. If I had this BPC it would become ships instantly.

    tl;dr; There isn't a huge market for this as a collectors item, but that doesn't mean it won't sell for a lot. If 2 titans of collection are bidding, it could get into omg-wtf silly ISK #s.
